While Kaido and his crew indulged in a grand banquet, blissfully unaware of the growing storm around them, the Navy and World Government were already moving to counter the emerging threat.
In the Navy headquarters, a tense meeting was underway. High-ranking officers filled the room, their faces a mix of concern and determination.
"Today's meeting will focus on two pressing issues: locating Roger and addressing the growing threat posed by the pirate Kaido," Kong announced, his expression grave. "The World Government has instructed us to increase our efforts in capturing him—or at the very least, ensuring he remains confined to the New World."
A murmur of discontent rippled through the room.
"No, absolutely not," one officer interjected, his voice firm. "Once he's in the New World, our ability to deal with him will be severely limited. We must not allow him to leave Paradise. If he enters the New World, our chances of stopping him diminish drastically."
Kong's eyes narrowed as he listened, the weight of the situation evident. The room fell silent as the officers awaited his response, understanding the gravity of the decisions that lay ahead.
"I understand your concern, Zephyr," Kong said, turning to the stern-faced Admiral. "The government has already dispatched CP agents to follow Kaido's movements. As soon as we have any information, I'll inform you. For now, you stay stationed at G-1."
Kong was about to continue when he noticed something amiss. His eyes narrowed in irritation. "You bastard, Garp! How dare you sleep during the conference!"
Garp, who had been napping quite peacefully, suddenly jolted awake. "Huh? Is the meeting over? Great, I'm off to capture Roger!"
"Mr. Garp, so bold as always," Borsalino remarked with his usual lazy drawl, a hint of amusement in his voice.
As Garp started to leave the room, Kong's face twisted in frustration. "You bastard, who gave you permission to leave?!"
"Marshall, let him go," Sengoku intervened, his black afro slightly bobbing as he shook his head. "You know how he is. Should we increase Kaido's bounty?"
Kong sighed, exasperation evident in his tone. "That fool never listens to me... Fine, for the charges of destroying government property and interfering with Navy operations, give that Beast Kaido a bounty of 1,600,000,000 Berries!"
"Understood, Marshall. I'll notify the Bounty Department immediately," an officer responded, hastily jotting down the new instructions.
With Garp gone, the meeting resumed, the officers turning their attention back to the pressing matters at hand.
Sometime after the events with the Susohiwan, the Beast Pirates returned to Rusukaina Island, resuming their usual activities of training and honing their skills.
As Kaido prepared for his early morning training, he noticed a ship approaching the island. The vessel bore the symbol of two giant pythons and a hydra—a clear indication of the Amazon Lily warriors. As the ship docked, the current Empress of Amazon Lily disembarked and approached Kaido.
"Mr. Kaido," she began, her tone respectful, "thank you for your help last time. We, the people of Amazon Lily, are deeply grateful. If there is anything you need, we are ready to fulfill it."
Kaido smiled, shaking his head. "It's my honor, but there's no need. Gloriosa has already promised me what I wanted."
The Empress smiled in return but insisted, "Gloriosa is Gloriosa, but as the Empress of Amazon Lily, I can't be unreasonable. Why don't you choose one of these weapons? They are treasures, passed down by my ancestors, the previous leaders of Amazon Lily."
At her signal, a group of Amazon Lily warriors brought forward a large display case filled with an array of weapons—swords, blades, spears, each of exceptional quality.
Kaido's eyes scanned the collection, but his attention was quickly drawn to a Axe , nearly as tall as he was, towering at seven meters. Intrigued, he walked towards it.
The Empress was momentarily shocked. She had expected Kaido to choose the club she had specifically placed at the front. However, she quickly composed herself and spoke with caution, "Mr. Kaido, this weapon is one of the 21 Ō Wazamono (Great Grade Blades) named Hagane no Tsume. This Double sided Axe is 7 meter tall, with staff of five meter, and Blade of 2 meter, his privious owner was a great warrior who tried to make it black knife but failed, It's said that if someone unworthy wields it, it could lead to their death. Are you sure you want it?"
A grin spread across Kaido's face. "Ha, so it's a cursed blade. Let's see if I'm worthy!"
Kaido grasped the Double sided Axe, and a surge of power radiated from him as he released his Conqueror's Haki, enveloping the weapon in his overwhelming aura. The air on the island grew heavy, making it difficult for many to breathe. The Axe seemed to respond, emitting an ominous energy as Kaido swung it. As the blade cut through the air and grazed his own skin, it released a burst of Haki that enveloped both Kaido and the weapon. Remarkably, the Axe failed to harm Kaido.
"Worororo! It seems I am worthy, Captain Kuja," Kaido declared with satisfaction.
The display left everyone on the island in awe. The Empress, still recovering from her shock, managed to reply, "Congratulations, Mr. Kaido. It seems you've found yourself a trusted weapon."
The amazement in her eyes lingered as she acknowledged the bond between the beastly pirate and his new demonic blade.
