After Kaido and his crew disembarked from the ship onto the Rusukaina island, the crew immediately began setting up camp.
They pitched tents, created a makeshift base, and carefully anchored the ship to ensure it was secure. The crew worked efficiently, their movements precise and practiced, showing the experience gained from years of piracy.Meanwhile, Kaido and Gloriosa continued their conversation, discussing their plans for the future.
As they talked, a ship from Amazon Lily, pulled by two giant pythons, appeared on the horizon. The sight of the Amazon ship gliding through the calm belt was impressive. For those unfamiliar, the calm belt is a treacherous area where there is no wind or sea current. Normally, it would be impossible for a ship to travel through it, but Kaido had used his Devil Fruit powers to act as the ship's propeller , propelling them through the still waters with ease.
As the Amazon ship reached the shore, a unit of Amazon warrior girls, led by a beautiful and fierce looking woman, disembarked and approached Gloriosa. They greeted her, and they start talking about status of current kingdom
Gloriosa walked toward kaido pointed towards a young girl and said "If you need to contact me, use a Den Den Mushi or contact my subordinate Ginny. You can ask her to contact me"
Kaido nodded. "Got it." he said, watching as Gloriosa walked off with her Amazon warriors.
Kaido's focus on his crew consisted of 36 members, a mix of hardened veterans and promising young talents. Twenty of them were either originally from the Rocks Pirates era or people Kaido had indirectly saved by killing their enemies. They joined him in search of power, drawn by his overwhelming strength and reputation.
Kaido accepted them into his crew because they were either able to withstand his powerful punch or possessed a Zoan Devil Fruit—he had a particular fondness for those who wielded such fruits. The remaining sixteen included ten professionals, such as doctors, shipwrights, and other essential roles, and six children with extraordinary potential, either because of powerful Devil Fruits or their special races, with King and Queen among them.
As Gloriosa disappeared into the distance, Kaido began to think about his activities for the next six months.
He knew he had to set clear goals himself and his crew to make the most of this time.First, there are my goals, Kaido thought, mentally listing them. I need to defeat all the beasts on this island without using Haki. It's crucial to build my physical strength and sharpen my combat instincts.
He then considered his progress in Haki. Kaido weakness is his observation haki it is at most intermediate level not even good as old whitebeard let alone predict future, while is at the third stage of Armament Haki, the external release. I need to get proficient in it and aim to master internal destruction. Kaido has also started with Conqueror's coating, but there are gaps in his technique. He mostly uses it with weapons, and he's given too much focus to Armament haki and exersise on his upper body—it's like he's forgotten about his legs.
Then, Kaido reflected on the differences between him and the original Kaido.'I can't be like the original Kaido. I need to be smarter, more strategic. I have to study the world, understand the biology of my Ghost bloodline, and delve deep into the mysteries of my Devil Fruit And the most important of all—the Lineage Factor and all three Haki types is crucial.'
If I want to surpass the original Kaido, I need knowledge as much as strength. Kaido's thoughts were clear, and his resolve was strong. The next six months would be grueling, but they were necessary if he was to achieve his ambitions.
