Chương 3: Chapter 3: Commotion at the Fossil Lab
The commotion outside grew louder, echoing through the walls of the Pokémon Center.
She could feel the excitement and fear swirling in the air, and her heart raced at the thought of stepping into action. But before she could rush out, Nurse Joy caught her arm gently.
"Lily, wait!" her mother said, her eyes filled with concern.
"You need something to help you." Lily looked up, confused.
"What do you mean, Mom?" Nurse Joy smiled softly and walked behind the counter.
She returned with a small, round pokémon, its color is the pastel shade of pink and its eyes sparkling with innocence.
"This is Happiny. I want you to take her with you. She will be your first partner." Lily's heart swelled with joy as she carefully took the little Pokémon into her arms. Happiny cooed softly, nuzzling against her.
"Hap, Happiny!"
"Thank you, Mom! She's perfect!" Nurse Joy nodded, pride evident in her eyes.
"Remember, Happiny has the ability to calm others with its Heal Bell move. It might come in handy today. Now, go help!"
Lily felt a rush of determination. She had read about how Pokémon could connect with one another, and she was ready to forge that bond with Happiny.
Together, they dashed toward the exit of the Pokémon Center, where chaos awaited them. As they stepped outside, the scene was overwhelming. A massive Tyrantrum, its scales glistening like polished rocks, roared in frustration, sending trainers and pokémon scattering in fear.
The ground trembled beneath its powerful feet as it rampaged through the Fossil lab, knocking over equipment and causing panic towards the scientists and trainers.
Lily's heart sank at the sight. This was no ordinary wild Pokémon; it had just been revived from a fossil, confused and felt loss. She glanced down at her partner, who also looked up at her with wide, cute and doe eyes.
"Let's go Happiny! We have to calm it down!" As they approached the Tyrantrum, Lily felt a mix of fear and excitement.
She remembered her mother's words about understanding Pokémon, about how they could sense emotions. Taking a deep breath, she held Happiny closer.
"Happiny, let's use Heal Bell!" she called out, her voice steady despite the chaos around her. With a gentle chime, Happiny emitted a soothing sound that resonated through the air.
The melody wrapped around Tyrantrum like a warm blanket, cutting through the noise of panic. For a moment, the rampaging Pokémon paused, turning its massive head toward the source of the sound. Lily stepped forward, her heart pounding in her chest.
"It's okay, Tyrantrum! We're here to help you!" The Tyrantrum's fierce eyes softened, confusion replacing the anger.
It took a tentative step back, the tension in its muscles beginning to ease. Lily felt a connection forming, a bridge of understanding between them.
"Happiny, one more time!" she urged, and Happiny chimed again, the Heal Bell echoing through the air.
Tyrantrum blinked, the wildness in its gaze fading as it focused on the little Pokémon. Another chime resounded, and the rampaging ancient dinosaur lowered its head, allowing Happiny to approach. With gentle hands, Lily reached out, patting tyrantrum.
"You're safe now," she whispered, feeling the bond between them grow stronger.
"We just want to help you." As the last notes of Heal Bell faded, the Tyrantrum let out a soft rumble, a sound that felt more like a sigh than a roar.
It lowered its massive body to the ground, and for the first time, Lily could see the fear behind its ferocity. Nurse Joy, nearby trainers and officer Jenny who had just arrived watched in awe as the scene unfolded.
"Incredible, Lily!" her mother called out, pride shining in her eyes.
With Happiny by her side, Lily approached the Tyrantrum cautiously, extending her hand. The massive Pokémon sniffed her, the warmth of its breath enveloping her. Slowly, it nudged her hand, and Lily smiled, her heart swelling with joy.
"This is what it means to be a Pokémon Trainer," she thought, realizing that today marked the beginning of her new life as a trainer.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden light over the scene, Lily knew she had found her place in this world. Together with Happiny, she was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

I'm not sure how I made it to the third chapter, which is a lengthy one (at least for me). To tell the truth, I was kinda bored when I released this book, and every time I read a Pokémon novel or fanfiction, I couldn't help but wonder, "What if it's like this or like that?" I thought to myself, "What if I write it?" and so here it is. To be honest, I have no idea how I have progressed this far or even what to write for the upcoming chapters. So I'll just go with the flow and update if I had an inspiration or idea.
