Author's note: I'm back and a little sad that there was no question you asked me. Now the publications will resume their usual rhythm.
There was only one topic of conversation in the school corridors: the duelling club. Nobody knew who the teacher would be, but speculation suggested that it would be Professor Flitwick.
He would really be the best choice since, in his youth, he was a professional duellist. This was likely due in part to his small stature, which gave him an advantage, as his opponents had to focus harder to hit him with a spell.
The evening of the dueling club finally arrived, and almost all the students were present to attend.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please give me your attention!"

Author's note: We can see that Evelyn is not very happy.
I don't even know why I should stay if it's this incompetent fool who will be teaching us dueling.
I noticed that most of the girls, including Hermione, were very excited that Lockhart was the teacher.
He continued speaking.
"Now, please welcome my colleague, Professor Snape."
Strangely, Professor Snape didn't make his usual majestic entrance.
"Professor Snape has kindly agreed to assist me with a demonstration. But don't worry—Professor Snape will, of course, continue teaching you Potions."
"I bet the end of our relationship that Lockhart will lose," Marie said, making a rather bold wager.
I wanted to add a little more.
"I'll bet the same as you, but that after his humiliation, he'll pretend as if he planned it all along."
"Isn't that a little too risky?"
"Don't worry. Remember when he pretended to make the potion to cure those who were petrified? He closed his eyes while preparing it, and we all know the best outcome would've been poisoning someone. And let's not forget the time he claimed to have repaired arms a hundred times but ended up making all the bones disappear instead. Trust me, I know Lockhart's personality very well, so I know exactly what he'll do."
Meanwhile, Lockhart and Professor Snape had already greeted each other and prepared for the duel. When I glanced at Harry's side, I noticed something surprising—he was encouraging Professor Snape, even though he usually despised him.
After only three seconds, Professor Snape used Expelliarmus and easily defeated Lockhart.
All the Slytherin students and the majority of others were thrilled with this outcome, while Lockhart's admirers were upset and anxiously wondering if he was okay.
"That was a beautiful Expelliarmus, Professor Snape. However, I already knew you were going to use that spell, and I would have had no trouble countering it if I wanted to. I simply wished to demonstrate the effect of this spell to the students."
Lockhart, always faithful to his delusions of grandeur. Even if it meant preventing my relationship with Mary from being destroyed, I must confess I was still a little afraid that he would pretend to know it all.
"Evelyn, I don't want to do this again."
"You're right."
We held hands as Lockhart explained the effects of Expelliarmus.
"Now, I'm going to choose two volunteers for a duel. Why not Harry and his friend?"
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I must warn you that Mr. Weasley's wand is in such poor condition that he could accidentally kill Mr. Potter during this duel," Snape interjected.
He's right. I don't even know how Ron manages to survive Transfiguration and Charms classes with that wand.
"Moreover, I don't believe Mr. Potter would provide a magnificent display in a duel. He could be humiliated, and the image of 'The Boy Who Lived' shouldn't be tarnished. That's why I propose Miss Longbottom and Miss Saturn instead."
He said it as if it were a random suggestion, but it was an excellent choice. I've always wanted to test myself against Mary.
