The sound of heavy doors slamming shut echoed through the halls of the White House as George, his girls, and the remaining soldiers retreated into the last line of defense. The White House, now more a fortress than a symbol of power, stood between them and total annihilation. George wiped the sweat from his brow and took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves.

The soldiers who had made it inside were in various stages of panic and exhaustion. They scrambled to position themselves around the windows and doors, barricading every possible entrance as the trolls and goblins continued their assault just outside.

"We've got less than a few minutes before they're at the doors!" General Conners barked, his face grim as he surveyed the chaos around him. "Everyone, take your positions! Hold this place at all costs!"

Lucy, still catching her breath, looked over at George with concern. "What's the plan here, George? We're cornered."
