Hayden was in awe as he looked at Lexi’s giant form.

Lexi moved toward him and circled him, sniffing and nudging him, causing him to laugh.

“Lexi…” He reached out to stroke Lexi’s fur. “You are beautiful.”

“I know!” Lexi giggled.

“She knows,” I mindlinked Hayden with a giggle, too.

“Well… I’m sure you can hear how much Rhett wants to meet you,” Hayden said and immediately shifted into Rhett’s majestic form without even taking his clothes off.

“Lexi, meet Rhett, our mate,” I told her with a smile.

“Mate! Rhett!” Lexi purred and licked Rhett’s nose, and Rhett did the same before they began playing and rolled around the forest.

The contrast between their colors was simply spellbinding.

They looked so good together - pure silver and pure black.

Rhett took off, and Lexi followed, feeling happy until she stopped and I heard her voice.

“Charlotte, look!”
