“Alpha Charlotte, Alpha Hayden is here,” a guard mind linked me.

“Send him away,” I replied without hesitation.

“He’s determined to see you. He said it’s important,” the guard said.

I sighed in annoyance. He must know that I was the one who hurt Milla and Sofia and was going to ask me to apologize.

Ah well... He had been trying to meet me ever since the Alphas’ meeting, but I had always turned him down. Since this was important, I might as well see him and show him my stance.

“Send him to my study,” I told the guard.

“Alright, Alpha,” the guard replied, and I closed the mind link.

A while later, I heard two sets of footsteps and could smell Hayden’s scent before he even entered my study.

The guard knocked, and I answered, “Come in.”

The door was opened, and my guard appeared before bowing to me, letting Hayden enter, and closing the door behind him, giving me and Hayden privacy to talk.
