Chương 4: 4. Kakashi- Anything wrong with Guy?

(Guys, If we reach 200 Powerstones before Sunday, Then Double Release on Monday! So, Give your all~)

Yukio could be seen doing some complex chakra control exercises while standing on the water of a lake. Miyuki was discharging electricity into the pond. Each time she did that, a red light flashed on Yukio's boots. Yes, Yukio was currently wearing boots, not shinobi sandals, for this exercise.

"Damn, it really is hard. My control over lightning not only starts to fade when I cover more water area, but it also becomes too hard to control in just a small area," Miyuki said.

"It is hard, but after this, nobody will be able to hurt you with a water-electric combination... probably," Kakashi theorized.

Kakashi could be seen trying to burn a leaf, clearly training his fire nature transformation.

"Kakashi, don't you have your Anbu duties?" Yukio asked without looking at him.

"I applied for a break today," Kakashi replied without looking away from the leaf.

"Old man Hokage granted it?"

"Well..." Kakashi paused.

*FLASHBACK NO JUTSU*

After reluctantly paying the bill at the barbecue shop, Kakashi made his way to the Hokage Tower

. He scaled it and knocked on the window, feeling too lazy to take the usual route through the receptionist. Plus, the Old Man Third didn't really mind.

He did feel someone's gaze on him when he knocked on the door, likely the Anbu protecting the Hokage. Over the past year, he had completed many Anbu missions—so many that he became the Anbu captain with the most missions on record, not counting the retired members and the Anbu commander.

Well, the Anbu commander wasn't an Anbu captain, so he didn't count.

Anyway, Kakashi mostly did solo missions and wasn't assigned a team due to his 'mental state' being deemed unstable by the Yamanaka Anbu responsible for these affairs.

That didn't stop him from doing back-to-back missions, almost as if he was trying to kill himself. Well, he had a team now.

This was why he was often given babysitting duty for Naruto whenever possible by the Third.

"Come in. You should enter by the door, you know."

"Lord Third, good afternoon," Kakashi bowed.

"Now, now, no need to be formal, Kakashi."

"Oh, understood," Kakashi said.

"Old man, I came to inform you about something." This caused Hiruzen to twitch slightly, though only the hidden Anbu noticed. Well, Kakashi noticed too but decided to ignore it.

Hiruzen certainly hadn't meant for Kakashi to be this informal as if he was his secret grandson or something.

The latter was not true—Hiruzen was very loyal to Biwako.

Or so it seemed.

Back to Kakashi.

"Oh, did something happen? I did hear about Yukio walking around dressed 'inappropriately' in public. Is it related to that?" Hiruzen asked. He had spilt his tea when the Anbu reported this to him.

"Hmm, no, it's not related to that." 'Did he actually walk in public in only his underwear?' Kakashi wondered.

"Oh, is it related to Guy shouting that he's going to read yaoi just like you?" Hiruzen asked again.

"Guy reads yaoi?" Kakashi felt like he had just been told the biggest joke of his life.

"You don't know? He was saying that he reads it to understand you better."

"What?" Kakashi shivered, his imagination running wild.

"Anyway, what did you want to inform me?" Hiruzen ignored Kakashi's growing discomfort.

"Ah, yes. I'm retiring from Anbu for the foreseeable future," Kakashi regained his composure, deciding to ignore Guy's interests.

"What? Why?" Hiruzen almost dropped his pipe.

"I'm taking a long break. I need to become the Hokage."

"You need to become the Hokage? Why?" Hiruzen was not expecting this. Well, he had planned to make Kakashi the next Hokage and retire, but he knew the likelihood of Kakashi accepting this position was low, so this genuinely baffled him.

"I need to pay my debts to my Sensei and my teammates. I think this is the best way to do it," Kakashi spouted nonsense on the spot.

"Hmm, okay, so why do you need the break if you're going to become the Hokage?" Hiruzen was not convinced by Kakashi's explanation, as he could easily identify when someone was bullshitting, having done it plenty himself.

"I need to train and reach S-rank quickly. My goal is to reach A-rank by the end of this year." This time Kakashi wasn't lying. His previous calculation of reaching A-rank hadn't taken into account quitting Anbu and training continuously like there was no tomorrow.

"That... is ambitious. Very well. You are granted a break for the foreseeable future. Just let me know when you need to apply the techniques you've learned, and I'll assign you a mission." Hiruzen really had no reason to deny Kakashi a break, seeing as he was determined to train.

Any effort to keep him from it would be pointless, so Hiruzen didn't waste any and let him be.

"Thank you, Old Man." With that, Kakashi left.

*FLASHBACK NO JUTSU END*

"Well... I somehow got it. The Old Man didn't really question much about it," Kakashi completed his previous statement.

"Woah, maybe the Old Man Third really likes you if he gave you a break that easily," Miyuki said.

Kakashi just rolled his eyes, not saying anything in reply.

"Now that I think about it, do you guys..." Kakashi hesitated before asking.

"What is it?" Yukio asked, still focusing on his chakra control exercises.

Kakashi gulped and looked away from the leaf, looking at the two. "Do you guys know anything wrong with Guy these days?"

Yukio, who was standing on the water, lost his footing and fell into the water.

Miyuki, after hearing Kakashi's question, unconsciously increased the output of electricity.

The lake was completely electrified, shocking Yukio. Luckily, he had created a bubble of water chakra just as he entered the pond, preventing the electricity from reaching him. Instead, it conducted through the outer surface of the bubble. Otherwise, he probably would have died.

"Damn, that was close. I thought I was going to see the Shinigami today," Yukio said as he came out of the lake.

"Sorry about that," Miyuki said briefly.

"It's fine." Yukio understood exactly why this happened, so he didn't blame her.

"Anyway, is something wrong with Guy? It doesn't seem like anything could be wrong with him," Yukio said suddenly.

"Yeah, he seems too youthful to be affected by anything," Miyuki caught on to what Yukio was trying to do.

"You guys..." Kakashi said almost in a whisper, but the other two felt a chill down their spines.

"Yup, we're screwed," Miyuki said. She quickly weaved hand seals, lightning crackling around her body, and turned around, ready to bolt.

Just as she was about to take a step, she noticed a kunai landing near her foot.

"Where are you guys going? You have to face the consequences," Kakashi's calm tone didn't help the situation.

"We could talk, you know," Yukio tried to diffuse the situation, knowing that his movement techniques wouldn't help him outrun Kakashi.

But before he could say anything more, he had to duck as a kunai covered in blue chakra flew through the spot where his head had been.

He quickly dipped his hand into the water and then clashed it against Kakashi's sword.

A lightning-covered sword and a fast stream of water rotating around Yukio's palm met.

"So, this is the technique you created last year. It's worthy of being A-rank," Kakashi said in a low tone, devoid of emotion, scaring Yukio.

Before Yukio could say anything, he was kicked in the gut and thrown like a rag doll across the lake, mid-air he changed the orientation of his body, landing against a tree, perpendicular to its surface.

As soon as he landed, he spat a compressed water ball that made Kakashi tilt his body, slowing him down.

"It wasn't my fault! It was all Miyuki!" Yukio threw Miyuki under the bus.

"You're both equally responsible, I can tell," Kakashi said, weaving hand seals.

Two Water Dragons emerged from both of them, but Yukio's dragon easily overpowered Kakashi's, almost effortlessly. The water of Kakashi's dragon combined with Yukio's jutsu, increasing its power.

"Maybe you should copy jutsus from people after you've completed nature transformation for all elements," Yukio commented.

Kakashi remained unfazed and weaved hand seals as the gigantic water dragon rushed toward him.

His expression remained unchanged as if he were taking a leisurely walk.

The sound of a thousand birds chirping could be heard.

Chương 5: 5. Miyuki's luck is bad?

(Guys, 200 Powerstones for a Double Release! So Give it your all)

---

**The sound of a thousand birds chirping could be heard.**

Kakashi used his self-created jutsu for which he is well-known.

His right hand, covered in Chidori, clashed with the Water Dragon.

"Hehe, I've never tried this with the Water Dragon Jutsu with this much chakra, but brace yourself," Yukio warned.

The Water Dragon, clashing with Kakashi's hand, started rotating its head so that the parts connected to it slowly began rotating as well.

Kakashi's eyes widened. He quickly tried to escape the deadlock his hand was in, but it was too late. The Water Dragon, now resembling a drill, overpowered his Chidori.

Just as Yukio was about to dispel the jutsu, before Kakashi could be seriously harmed, Kakashi poofed out, indicating that he was a shadow clone.

Yukio suddenly found himself on the ground, his hands behind his back, held by Kakashi.

"Now, now, no need to treat me like a prisoner."

"Maybe I should hand you over to the Uchiha Police. They wouldn't mind locking you up," Kakashi said.

"Now, now, the jail cells aren't spacious, and they stink."

"How do you know?"

"I'm speaking from experience," Yukio replied.

"What were you doing in jail?" Kakashi asked curiously.

"Do you really want to know?" Yukio responded with a question of his own.

"No." Kakashi's curiosity was extinguished by that question. He had learned the hard way not to ask further when Yukio responded like that. He had regretted it too many times before.

"Anyway, when did you put me in Genjutsu?" Yukio asked.

"When you were talking with Miyuki."

"Well, you're a shadow clone too, right? Your real body is after Miyuki, isn't it?" Yukio asked.

"You can tell? I don't think you're a sensor of that level to sense my chakra in this position."

"Hehe, I don't need to be a sensor to know how you think. To answer your question in advance, I switched bodies when I fell in the water," Yukio said as his body turned into water, transforming into thorns and piercing Kakashi, who poofed out.

**Back to Miyuki, who was on the run with Kakashi just on her trail.**

She had just deflected a lightning-coated kunai with her sword. Kakashi closed the distance and engaged in swordplay.

"Dude, chill. It was all Yukio's fault."

"He said it was all your fault."

"What! I just mentioned yaoi. He was the one who came to the conclusion that you read Yaoi," Miyuki quickly deflected the blame back to Yukio.

"So you agree that you're responsible for this," Kakashi hit the bullseye.

"Wait, yes, no—I mean," Miyuki stammered as she dodged a sword slash that was too close for comfort.

Two blurs of blue flashes could be seen moving through the forest.

The two blue flashes became three as Miyuki formed a shadow clone, which created some distance and started making seals. The brush in her hand moved quickly, her hands becoming a blur.

"Jeez, your lightning enhancements are superior to mine," Kakashi commented while ducking under one slash, using the opportunity to land a slash of his own.

"Your lightning chakra's penetrative power is too high," Miyuki said as she kicked the flat side of his sword.

"Let's do some jutsu, shall we?" Miyuki said, throwing her sword at Kakashi, who barely managed to deflect it.

"Lightning Style: Multi Murder!" Hundreds of kunai and shuriken were summoned from her storage seal, all covered in lightning. But it didn't stop there.

Those hundreds of kunai and shuriken multiplied a hundredfold, reaching tens of thousands, all rushing at Kakashi at deadly speed.

Miyuki was covered in a barrier, the projectiles originating from there.

'So that clone made a seal to have some semblance of control over this large number of projectiles, as there's a high chance for them to just collide with each other and decrease momentum otherwise,' Kakashi thought as he observed the approaching storm.

He felt like he was going to die, his vision nearly filled with kunai.

His Sharingan furiously spun, trying to capture everything.

Kakashi had already started weaving hand-seals when Miyuki summoned her projectiles, completing them without dropping his sword.

'Second time,' Kakashi thought as the familiar sound of birds chirping could be heard.

However, instead of covering his hand, lightning coalesced on the sword instead.

'I can't maintain control over it for long, so I need to finish this quickly,' Kakashi summoned another sword, and Chidori formed on it too. 'Third time.' That should be the limit of his chakra.

Soon, Kakashi's hands blurred as he deflected—no, cut—all the projectiles with deadly precision and speed. Lightning arrows met lightning arcs, the latter cutting the former.

This continued for nearly half a minute.

Kakashi cut down all the kunai aimed at him in that short time.

"Damn it, she escaped too," Kakashi panted, too drained.

Kakashi lay down on the ground. 'I don't even want to think about how I'm going to deal with Guy now,' he thought, his blood pressure rising at the prospect. Dealing with Guy's challenges was too much for him—now this...

Kakashi's chakra spiked, and he stood up.

'Damn it, my emotions are going so out of control that I'm generating chakra. This generally happens when one faces a life-or-death scenario or something similar, causing their yin component to spike, which makes their chakra spike as well,' Kakashi thought, but he didn't control his emotions and let them run wild.

'I'm going to find those two and make them solve this mess,' Kakashi promised himself, weaving some hand seals.

A lightning blur left the clearing.

---

**Time: A few hours before Yukio was roaming naked on the streets of Konoha.**

**POV: First Person → Third Person**

'Hmm, my head hurts. It feels like a hangover. I don't recall drinking alcohol,' I stood up from the bed—or whatever I was lying on—and made my way to the washroom on instinct.

I splashed water on my face, and just as I reached for the towel, I paused.

'Huh?'

'I know that I like to look young and do look younger than my supposed age, but this seems a bit too much.'

'Hmm, wait, I have two sets of memories that are continuous? Hmm, one of ___ and the other of Miyuki. Did I transmigrate?' I thought as I weaved hand-seals, my body getting covered in lightning.

'That... is so COOL!' I thought as I tried out all the jutsu I knew again and again for the next hour.

'Ahem, I think I got a bit distracted, but let's assess my situation. Did I transmigrate? No, it's more like reincarnation with delayed memories, as my original personality from my previous life as an adult did get inherited by this self. Well, my current personality is a bit different, but the base is the same.'

'Well, it's a shame that I died or that my soul got shifted somehow. I had a lot of things left to achieve. Then again,' I looked at my palm, which was releasing blue chakra.

'Then again, the tradeoff is good, so it's fine.'

'My only regret is... then again, I can't do anything about it. It was fun while it lasted. Let's focus on the present.' She moved on quickly.

'Let's see. Today is a funeral ceremony. I have to... I don't like what my meta-knowledge is telling me.' Miyuki took a deep breath and slowly released it.

She did that a few times before she finally calmed down.

'Obito wouldn't... right? This could be AU or something, right?' She now felt the difference between seeing Obito on TV and personally witnessing how he changed. She had known Obito since they were kids.

The clumsy idiot who wore goggles to protect his eyes so that he could awaken the Sharingan... He can't kill Minato-niichan and Kushina-sensei, right?'

'Right?' She didn't get any answer. With a heavy heart, she left her house and wandered around, probably trying to find a white-haired monster to get answers to all her questions.

Alas, her luck wasn't that good.

In fact, it was so bad that she found an exhibitionist running around.

Her luck was horrible because, upon closer inspection, she found that the exhibitionist was her best friend.

She had a strong urge to pretend she didn't see him and go back.

But her urge to banter with him won out in the end.

Plus, it's rare to see Yukio in underwear.

But that was definitely not the reason she was going to meet him now—at least that's what she told herself.
