Lucy stepped out of the taxi, her gaze landing on the sleek exterior of the café that stood just across the skyscraper that is the Westwood Group building. The café was already filled with people who were having a peaceful time as they went about their day with coffees on their tables.
But she was here for coffee or the ambiance.
Lucy spotted Chelsea through the window. Already seated by the glass front, she was fidgeting with the handle of her cup.
Chelsea's call came unexpectedly but was much welcomed. Lucy thought Chelsea would need more time to gather her thoughts and make a decision. After all, it made sense for her to question Lucy's intentions and purpose in helping her.
