Ever since that night by the edges of the territory, as my heart began to beat for one person alone, I embarked on that arduous journey to gather allies within the Dawn Wood pack.

At the time, I was nothing more than a mere boy of fifteen, devoid of any real power or position, just a slave boy like the rest of them. It was an uphill battle from the very start, as my youth and my lack of influence made it difficult for others to put their trust in me.

The Dawn Wood pack was a place where hierarchies were deeply ingrained, where might often meant right, and where the concept of social status was paramount. I didn't fit into any of these categories, and that was both my greatest disadvantage and my greatest advantage. Because I possessed something that no one else could discern at the time - Alpha blood coursed through my veins.
