The crystal steps gleamed crimson underneath the setting sun that painted the sky a hue of red. One who didn't take a close look at the steps would think that the sun was responsible for its new found colour. But Zina, who could well see the amount of red liquid that was pouring out like a stream knew that its origin was blood.
She didn't stare at it too much and what it could mean. Instead, she sprung into action, commanding the one hundred she was with to enter into the castle.
But when they stormed into the castle's keep, instead of a battle as they had expected, what they witnessed was the evidence of the massacre of the BloodMoon warriors while none other than Daemon stood at the head, looking bored out of his mind.
