Chương 32: Butchering

"You are like an annoying fly... except a lot uglier and a lot harder to kill," Leon muttered in annoyance as he rushed forward to outmanuver and outsmart the approaching evil spirit again. 

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The two danced through the forest as they clashed several times every few seconds, aiming to end each other's life as quick as possible. 

After its tongue was cut, the Vileshade Wraith offensive capability had halved, but it remained confident in its ability to tank the attacks of its prey and come out unscathed. Its tongue was the softest part of its body, so it could be cut, but its legs and torso were as solid as metal.

The wraith believed Leon's swords wouldn't be able to breach its defenses so it fought recklessly. 

However, it had greatly underestimated him.

While his basic swords couldn't harm it, Leon had already enforced Stormbreaker with the second effect of his Rank-2 runic item, The Little Treasure of the Duke.
