When Wang Lu was looking into the Wilderness, those behind him had also caught up. But the sight before then couldn't help but make them shiver slightly.
The environment before then didn't seem like anything for humans at all, and what was even more terifying was that they could see black thunder causing havoc randomly in different directions.
The Wilderness was indeed not a place for humans in the slightest.
"Let go!" The man in the front finally reminded them it was time to move foward.
Wang Lu didn't forget to hold onto Wang Yue's hand tightly, least she got separated from him.
The perception hundred meters around him was for him, and not others, as such he could only be cautious.
Even with his perception, he continued to walk along without much change in expression.
Wang Lu felt some unknown force covering him, and he could tell at a glance it was probably the arrangement of the clan.
"Interesting, someone with a domain is taking the lead in escorting us! I think the trip should be safer." He concluded as he walked foward with Wang Yue.
After covering a few miles, the domain varnished. It had been withdrawn, and it seemed that everything would depend on oneself.
He could already tell that this journey was going to be nothing but safe.
"My artistic conception of Inverse Heavens has already reached the midstages of Artistic conception. Once it reaches perfection, I can master the second move. If I manage to grasp all the five moves, I wonder if any huge change will happen then?" He was looking foward to this.
He kept staring at the saber by his waist and remained silent, as he took a step forward, only to feel his body cells had become very active.
"The wilderness is indeed different. The desolation is not the only concern, as this place has the ability to force the body consume energy faster. No wonder mom insisted I take those things. But I want to see just how long can my body he able to support itself in such an environment." Wang Lu kept holding onto Wang Yue and walking foward.
She also felt the change, but it was not yet that serious.
Just like that half an hour passed by and at this moment, the number of people incapable of bearing the environment in the wilderness started to rise.
"It seams that artistic conception can barely fight off this environment, but eventually one will be affected." As he looked what was happening casually he thee a leaf into Wang Yue's mouth.
After she swallowed it, she felt a strong medical power bursting into her body spreading fast. Within no time, she had recovered a rosy sensation. She wasn't the only one, after all they were able to come in this place due having some strong family backgrounds, as such knew about the Wilderness.
Only Wang Lu kept persevering, as for why he did this, only he knew.
In the Wilderness flying is considered a taboo, and that even more so with the use of treasures.
No one was arrogant enough to try it, as such they kept moving foward without much issue until finally they arrived at their entrance. But it wasn't just this group, other groups could be seen.
They kept distance from each other, but even so, didn't lower vigilance against each other.
"This is the entrance to the ruins should be there!" The man in the lead pointed at the massive distortion in the sky. Wang Lu might have not even noticed it if the man hadn't pointed towards it. But after looking, he realized it was indeed different from the chaotic Sky in the wilderness.
"In the next period, things might not be as simple as you think. Always be on standby, ready to take action, we aren't the only ones interested in the ruins." He remained as he sat down to take a breather.
He wasn't tired, but rather just preserving his stamina Incase trouble arose at any time.
Everyone else kept looking around feeling the man was just too cautious, but didn't say anything.
"Damn! What a jinx!" Suddenly Wang Lu noticed someone looking in their group with anger.
Before he could think further, the ground started to shake.
Clearly it was movement and it was directed towards them.
He then seemed to have a realization. "So he was calling him a jinx! That explains a lot."
Even though his thoughts on the other party's words was dismissive, he positioned himself close to Wang Yue and his perception covering a hundred meters radius came into play.
If anything entered this range he would realize and even more so if it approached Wang Lu.
Looking into the distance, he could see beast like creatures rushing towards this direction and the lower visibility in this area made it such that they couldn't see them. But the closer they approached, the ground was shaking while their outline become clearer.
"This demons are different, they didn't have the same aura as the ones I killed before! Even their aura seems to have a red bloodthirsty nature to them. Perhaps this is not strange. They are only in the body forging stage to master level, but the numbers are enough to cause massive destruction." He thought to himself as he looked toward Wang Yue.
"Sister! This is the chance to horn your combat skills. Make sure to be quick and efficient, no fancy moves, perhaps you could even have a chance to move further in your techniques!" He spoke about this in a low voice only the two of them could hear.
Hearing this, Wang Yue finally held her saber in hand.
Seeing this Wang Lu nodded in approval, as he looked towards waiting for trouble to arrive.
Other than being anxious, Wang Yue was also looking forward this life and death battle.
"Don't be nervous! Calm down your mind. In this kind of situation you are already cornered and have to fight, and thus only your fist and saber matter." Wang Lu patted Yue back.
In this kind situation, he had no choice but to give her some push. He could see that her heart had settled and even the saber that was shaking in her hand regained stability.
Her eyes turned cold as she looked into the distance, where a horde of monsters appeared, forming a blood coloured cloud above them.
He wasn't planning on using his fists either, rather his saber skills were to be put in the test.
He felt that the reason he couldn't advance further was clearly the lack of actual combat. His Inverse Heavens reached the peak of middle stage artistic conception due the insights from that battle that almost killed him.
That beinng the case, he wouldn't miss out on this chance at all.
Looking at the blood coloured clouds, and hordes of monsters that were approaching his perception range. He had a though in his mind.
"How about ignoring the distance between me and my enemy? Is that still Inverse Heavens!"
Not Feeling your support friends! Make a miracle for me!
