Chương 92: Facing the Wilderness!

For the first time, in a long time, Wang Lu had walked toward the boundary of the Zhen city. Even with his cultivation, he couldn't see beyond the city wall, as for why, he never bothered with it.

Wang Lu was checking out the panel as he looked at massive wall.

"I'm an adult now!" He thought to himself.

"Wang Lu! Wang Lu!"

"Brother!"

When a hand slapped him and on the shoulder, Wang Lu reacted and then realized Xingyue, Shi Yi and even Wang Yue were looking at him.

"Wang Lu! What is going on? Why are you in a daze?" Xingyue asked as he looked at him.

"I just realized this wall was giving me a strong sense of oppression. I'm not even as good as a city wall!" Wang Lu replied instinctively, and the group of Wang clan around him burst out into laughter.

It seemed as though what he had said was very interesting.

Most where holding back their tears, as they wanted to tell him, 'we are all better than you. But you are bold enough to bring a little girl along'.

"By the way! How long are we going to be in the ruins?" Wang Lu was interested in this information.

"As you know those beyond great Grandmaster realm will be expelled from the ruins, but the others should have close to a decade! But cultivation environment in the Ruins is very suitable for those that manage to survive. In a way, it is almost impossible to stay in the ruins for too long, due to the dangers that exist in there." Shi Yi was the one that answered this time.

"What dangers are there other than other practictioners?" Wang Lu felt something was not right.

"Every year in the ruins, the danger level rises for those present. It is useless to have large numbers as the danger level is often based on the strongest person in the team." Just hearing this, Wand Lu already didn't even want to form a team with the strong men from the clan.

Even though most of the people were pretending unfazed, Wang Lu felt a difference. Their heartbeats accelerating, eyes dilating, and all other body language showed that this group was actually scared.

"What kind of material is used to create such a massive wall? I wonder how skilled the workers had to be?" He contemplated as he looked at the wall.

Wang Shi Yi and Xingyue didn't seem as affected, as though they has already seen far more than this.

Wang Lu was able to take note of this, "So the trip to the Wilderness is considered my first time leaving the city and also makes me a country bumpkin!."

Wang Lu was able to guess a lot of things from their expressions and body language. Most of the people gathered had at least went to other cities, more than once.

He didn't continue looking at them, but rather shifted his gaze. He seemed to see something else, it was more like a barrier, but unlike ordinary barriers, it actually was very difficult to notice.

"Wonderful! This barrier is very impressive indeed, but why does it not seen to be set up to block entry and exit?" He could that the barrier just extended all the way into the heavens.

Since he couldn't get the answers, he turned towards the exit of the city and walked along with the others, and finally the only opening about a few hundred meters in height and several tens of meters in width appeared before them.

When he reached the gate, it was his first sight of the wilderness and was shocked by what he saw. The wilderness was definitely not some place for humans to live. The first thing to come in his sight was barren land. It even brought an aura of desolation with it.

Wang Lu eyes narrowed and his face had a strange look.

Walking in the wilderness, even surviving that thunder storm was only possible through a domain.

"No wonder people are traveling in groups. It turns attempting to cross the wilderness on your own is seeking death!" Wang Lu thought as he looked into the desolate lands.

His clenched fist was released as coldness in his eyes intensified, "Senluo Hall! Wang Lu! I'm coming!"

He didn't shout but thought about this in his head. He wasn't arrogant enough to say such words out loud or it wouldn't end well even for him.
