"Good evening, John."
"Good evening, Jimmy."
At the end of the war, John Wick single-handedly eliminated all the assassins. There were never more than two shots in any gunfight—one to kill, one to confirm. Hand-to-hand combat didn't last more than a round. John Wick was a master of the lethal arts, his skills honed to perfection, capable of killing in an instant and snapping necks without hesitation. There was no mercy, no pity—only the cold efficiency of a killer.
Outside the window, the red and blue lights of police cars flashed continuously. The audience's hearts pounded. Would John Wick now face off against the police? After all, he'd just killed so many people. But John Wick, now fully composed, calmly opened the door and greeted the officer.
The cop glanced at the scattered bodies behind him. "You…back at work?" he asked.
"No, just cleaning up some loose ends," John replied.
"Okay. Good night, John."
"Good night, Jimmy."
Huh? The police just let him go like that?
The audience grew even more curious about John Wick's past. Who is he?
After making a phone call, a team of "professionals" arrived to clean up the scene, erasing all traces of the bloody battle.
The gang leader, Viggo, grew more fearful after learning of the assassins' failure. "If you want to catch the wolf, you have to be willing to risk the child," he muttered. Viggo was prepared to spend a fortune to hire a true killer.
"Ah? The Green Goblin!" someone in the audience exclaimed. "Damn, the Green Goblin and Spider-Man are at it again!"
When veteran actor Willem Dafoe appeared on screen, the audience erupted. The two had fought several times in "Spider-Man," and now they were about to clash again, this time in a different movie.
"Now it's getting interesting!"
Willem Dafoe's performance was outstanding. Dressed in a bathrobe, he might have resembled Norman Osborn at first glance, but a closer look revealed the differences. Osborn was a successful entrepreneur, a scientist with an aura of control. This character, however, was just an ordinary retired man, drinking leisurely at home. But anyone who underestimated him would pay dearly.
Xu Can couldn't afford to hire big-name actors like Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, or Denzel Washington. But the actors he did cast, including Dafoe, delivered excellent performances. Dafoe even joined at a low fee out of friendship. Under Xu Can's direction, their collective acting was superb, creating a feast for the audience.
"For $2 million, can you kill John Wick?"
"Even though you two were close…"
"Is this order just for me?"
"No, it's a public contract."
"Okay, I'll take it."
Killer Marcus, this time, didn't don the Green Goblin suit. Instead, he carefully prepared his sniper rifle at the Continental Hotel. John Wick, meanwhile, arrived at the hotel and casually walked past a woman played by Emma Stone. One look at her face and it was clear—this woman was no mere passerby.
"Are they teaming up for a new movie?" someone asked.
"Great! More screen chemistry!" many female viewers cheered, remembering their beloved pairing from "Spider-Man."
But some viewers sensed something was off and watched with growing unease.
"Nice to see you, John," Perkins said.
"Nice to see you too, Perkins," John replied, hinting at a shared history. She was a killer too.
The Continental Hotel was as elegant and upscale as ever, yet shrouded in mystery. The enigmatic receptionist, the female assassin, the strange coins—everything hinted at a vast organization behind the hotel, creating a unique and compelling world.
After settling in, John Wick intended to resolve things quietly through connections.
"What's John Wick up to now?"
"Iosef…"
"What about him?"
"I need to talk to him."
"You know the rules here. No business on Continental grounds."
"This is personal."
But John didn't get the answer he wanted. The forces behind the Continental were clearly protecting the man who killed his dog. Despite knowing the power of this organization, despite knowing what he would face if he crossed them, John Wick was resolute.
Back in his room, he donned body armor and prepared to storm the enemy's lair alone.
On a chaotic dance floor, with flashing lights and pounding music, the tension built as John's thirst for revenge grew. The audience felt the heat—suppressed, bottled up, until finally, it exploded.
Hollywood heroes were usually noble, righteous, always fighting with honor. But not John Wick. He killed with ruthless efficiency, extracting confessions through brutal methods. And the audience loved it.
After all, he didn't start this. He was just finishing it.
Accompanied by a relentless BGM, John Wick embarked on a killing spree. He stabbed a dagger into a neck and through the skull with one motion. With a Glock 26, he fired two shots to the chest, one to the head. No mercy. No hesitation.
From the entrance to the inner sanctum, John cut through the gang like a knife through butter. Fear spread among his enemies as John's revenge burned hotter.
The leader's son, Iosef, realized too late the gravity of his mistake. Their eyes met across the room—one filled with terror, the other with cold resolve.
John Wick wasn't following any rules. He was there to kill, and he did so without hesitation. His every move was precise, his aim lethal. By the end of the 10-minute sequence, he had killed over 30 men, each kill more artistic than the last. The audience was on the edge of their seats, breathless, fists clenched, eyes wide.
Iosef tried to flee, but there was no escape. John Wick, with his P30L pistol, chased him through the crowd, mowing down anyone who stood in his way. He was unstoppable, killing with brutal efficiency.
The action scene was relentless, and when it was over, Iosef lay dead, the final words he never got to speak dying with him. John Wick stood over his body, emotionless, before walking away.
The audience finally exhaled, their tension released as John Wick's revenge came to its inevitable conclusion.
But the story wasn't over.
Viggo, enraged by his son's death, sought to kill the old killer who had helped John. Dafoe's character, who had retired from this life, met a tragic end.
When John Wick found out, he vowed to kill Viggo too.
In the final showdown, John chased Viggo down in a Ford Charger, crashing into his car and taking out his men one by one. The action escalated to a brutal hand-to-hand fight in the rain, where John, with expert judo and jiu-jitsu, took Viggo down.
"This is for my friend," John said, as he delivered the final blow.
With his revenge complete, John, wounded and weary, watched a video of his late wife. Her smile reignited his will to live. He patched himself up, took a dog from a shelter, and walked off into the night—just a man and his dog, disappearing into the darkness.
As the credits rolled, the audience sat in stunned silence, unable to calm their racing hearts.
