Chương 78: What's The Plan?

Kae's eyes locked onto the stone. With a determined cry, he launched himself at the troll. Dodging a swipe from its massive claw, he leapt into the air and brought his sword down with all his strength. The blade struck true, obtaining the stone.

The troll let out an earth-shaking roar before crumpling to the ground. Kae's storage ring absorbed the red Spirit Stone as its brightness illuminated the forest for a fleeting moment but Anna knew jubilating on obtaining a red stone isn't important now.

The other trolls, enraged by the loss of their leader, charged at Kae. But one by one, he defeated them, collecting their Spirit Stones as their bodies fell lifeless to the ground.

When the last troll was defeated, Kae turned to Anna, panting heavily. "Are you alright?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

Anna nodded, her hands trembling. "Y-yeah. Are you okay? That… that was insane."
