With her nonchalant expression and calm blue eyes like water, Rachel sat by the huge window, watching the rain fall. She had already left Kane's family in a reasonably safe place where they could hardly be found.

She looked at her phone calmly and saw that she had many messages. Most were from men trying to woo her; the others were work-related, from clients and shareholders who had left the company when it was in the red.

Looking at the messages from shareholders, Rachel sighed softly. She knew this would happen, so she ignored all those messages. She didn't want those annoying messages to ruin her happiness at that moment.

"Who would have thought Kane would ask me for help with something important to his family's safety? With this, I can get close to her mother without looking suspicious. Besides, she'll be my future mother-in-law."
