Chương 135: **Chapter 135: Interview**

After filming for two more days, Richard completed the remaining scenes and left the crew of "Mystery Puzzle."

It was early February, and there was less than a month until his match with Roy Jones. "Don King Promotions" and both parties' management companies also started working hard, promoting the fight in the media, creating buzz, and naming the event "The Answer."

The name had three meanings: Was Roy Jones wronged in his last loss? How strong is Richard Brad's power? And who is the number one in the light heavyweight division?

With extensive media promotion, their match became a hot topic and a highly anticipated sports event.

During this media promotion phase, Richard had no work scheduled, so he focused on training at the gym and took advantage of the massage therapy services offered by Starlight Sports.

"Hehe, Richard, feeling good?"

In the Starlight Company's therapy room, Paul lay on a massage table, his head turned to reveal a wide grin.

"Not bad!" Richard replied while flipping through a newspaper.

"Richard, the oil massage is great. Do you want to try it?"

Paul grinned broadly.

"No need, I'm not that tired."

"Yes, you're a freak. With such a heavy training load, most people would be exhausted, but you only rest for one night and are full of energy the next day. How do you do it?"

Paul furrowed his brows.

"It's my talent, no point in explaining."

"Talent?"

Paul snorted, "Alvin said you have great boxing talent and strong potential. How come you also have this kind of talent? Are you the son of God? How else could you have so many talents?"

"Hmm, maybe. Besides talent, it's also about practicing yoga, eating well, not staying up late, and finding a pretty girlfriend to keep both body and mind satisfied. Then you won't lack energy."

"That doesn't sound hard."

"The key is persistence."

Richard folded the newspaper, sat up, and thanked Lava, his masseuse, a woman in her thirties from Mexico, with decent looks and a body better than Andy described.

"Richard, are you done?"

Paul asked.

"A simple relaxation is enough; let the body recover on its own. Don't let it become dependent."

Richard wrapped himself in a towel and walked into the bathroom.

"Alright, I'm done too. Thanks, Denise!"

Paul got up, kissed his African-American masseuse, and walked naked into the shower room. Glancing at himself and then at Richard, he grimaced.

"Richard, how are you planning to fight this match?"

Paul asked while scrubbing himself.

"I don't know yet. I only have a general outline; the specifics will depend on Roy's performance. I hear he's training hard, aiming for a comeback. I feel quite pressured."

Richard sighed while washing his hair.

"I don't believe it. You tied with Holyfield; you can't feel pressured against Roy Jones."

"It's different. Roy Jones is faster than Holyfield in bursts, and not much slower than me. Even a lion uses its full strength to hunt a rabbit. Never underestimate an opponent."

"That makes sense. I'm starting to think I lose matches not just because of a lack of strength but also because of my mindset."

"Realizing that is progress."

Richard smiled, walked out of the bathroom, and changed his clothes.

As the match approached, Richard had additional work, such as shooting promotional posters and giving media interviews.

He spent more than two hours in the studio, taking dozens of action shots, stills, and many pictures wearing the WBC gold belt.

The next afternoon, he faced a large group of reporters outside the Starlight Sports training facility.

"Mr. Brad, there are rumors that you were bitten by a shark during filming in Italy last year. Is your leg injury healed?"

A reporter from the New York Post asked.

"That's not true. My leg only had minor scratches, not a shark bite."

Richard replied into the microphone.

"Mr. Brad, it's understood that you've been filming movies since last year, while Roy Jones has been training hard and sparring with many experts. It seems like you don't take this match seriously."

A reporter from New York Today asked.

"Your information is inaccurate. Although I was filming, I never stopped training. Since last year, I've also been training continuously. As for Mr. Roy Jones finding experts to spar with, I don't think it will help much. He lost last time, and he will lose again this time."

Richard confidently swung his fist.

"Heh, Richard's words sound a bit empty."

Outside, Alvin stroked his chin.

"That guy must be planning some tactics."

Andy smiled with narrowed eyes.

"Mr. Brad, people say you're good at ring tactics. What's your strategy this time? Can you reveal it in advance?"

A reporter from the Baltimore Sun asked.

"Sure, I'll aim for a one-punch KO victory, just like last time."

Richard said loudly.

"Uh..."

The scene fell silent for a few seconds. Normally, people wouldn't answer such questions directly, but Richard did. He's quite straightforward.

Wait, remembering his reputation as a 'tactical master,' the reporters instinctively felt it wasn't that simple.

"Richard, did you just reveal your strategy?"

His general manager, Bob Ruiz, asked in surprise.

"Hehe, don't believe his nonsense. You'll be fooled if you do."

Paul laughed.

"Maybe, sometimes lies are the truth."

Andy grinned, holding a cigar under his nose.

"Mr. Brad, how many rounds do you plan to take to win this match?"

A New York Post reporter asked.

"The plan is three rounds. If I can win in one, even better."

"Mr. Brad, Tyson told our reporter a few days ago that he believes Roy Jones will win this time and bet $100,000 on him. What's your view on that?"

A reporter from the American News asked.

"$100,000?"

Richard chuckled, "I don't believe it. I heard he's almost bankrupt, which was reported in your newspaper. Or did you report another fake news story?"

"Hahaha~"

The surrounding reporters laughed. Not long ago, the News was sued for reporting fake news, so the joke was still fresh.

"Mr. Brad, you and Mr. Tyson have been provoking each other in the newspapers. Do you have any plans for a match?"

"That depends on the promotion company. If there's a match, I'll definitely take it."

Richard said, raising his fist.

"There are rumors that during the filming of 'Mystery Puzzle,' you were very close with Angelina Jolie. What's your relationship?"

"Please ask questions related to the match, thank you!"

"Mr. Brad"

The interview lasted more than forty minutes. Richard boasted at the microphone, acting proud and arrogant, appearing a bit overconfident.

"Richard, is this your strategy?"

Bob Ruiz asked.

"No strategy, just talking nonsense to create some buzz. It doesn't matter if the opponent believes it or not."

Richard said with a smile, holding a water bottle.

"Alright, you focus on your training, and we'll handle the rest."

Andy patted his shoulder.

"OK!"

Leaving the company, Richard drove to Ms. Bündchen's office building. It was Valentine's Day, and they spent the afternoon shopping, watching movies, and attending an art exhibition, enjoying a romantic time together.
