I didn't know that Lady Zhang was taken by her father. I hope I can speak with the empress and learn what happened. I was about to ask Lady Wei for a little detail, but she stood up.

"Let's go back. This woman won't understand my feelings anyway," she says.

She glares at me, then looks at her servants. They left just like that. I sighed and looked at the servants in Pei Qin's manor.

"Take care of these," I utter.

They smiled and bowed their heads. I went outside and my personal maids came with me.

"My lady, you look bothered. Don't worry. The empress will never hurt you again. She made a promise, and we believe in that," Zheng Lin says. I sighed.

"I am not bothered by that. What bothers me is the fact that Lady Zhang left the palace. I know she will do something that will harm the empress," I murmured. I know they understand what I mean by it.
