"little Lu, I think this is it. It's our new home."
Lucy was really happy and flew around Max like usual, but for Max all he saw was a ball of missed rotating around him.
He was quite confused and just ignored her antics.
Max was really tired.
Last night he didn't sleep because he was waiting for the simulator's cooldown. And he spent the day being thrown around like a cannonball.
"alright little Lu, first open a cave for me to sleep. I will explore the mountain tomorrow"
Max flew to a flat rock wall and jumped to the ground, standing in front of the wall.
The mountain is slightly above 6,000 m tall, and Max's room is located halfway up.
the Rock-wall started cracking open slowly.

"Lu, make it into a proper room this time."
The wall first opened into a normal cave, then the cave walls became smooth and upright.
Lucy even added some symbols and drawings as a decoration.
Under Max's instructions, Lucy carved two rooms, one for Max and one for the eggs.

The cave entrance disappeared, becoming a stone door, while Lucy opened a few windows on the side.
"Thank you Lu, you did a great job."
Feeling her happiness through their mental link, Max walked inside, and from his space ring he took out a small bed, bedcover, a pillow, and such.
He first placed the suitcase inside the empty room, then fell asleep immediately.

Looking at the sleeping Max, Lucy didn't know what to do for a while.
She didn't need to sleep much in this form, only a few hours a week is enough for her.
She wanted to watch something fun, but the laptop was inside the space ring and she didn't want to wake up Max since he seemed really tired.
Maybe she can use the space ring?
But sadly, Max is wearing the ring. And Due to his closed fist, she was unable to remove the ring.

Thinking for a while, she decided to explore the mountain first. Max did say mountains contain a lot of treasures and such.
Maybe she can find something useful for Max, at the same time she won't be bored.

Early in the morning, Max woke up energetic.
Stretching his limbs, he felt an inexplicable happiness wash over him.
Back in the city, there was always a lingering worry in the back of his mind - the fear that someone would take an interest in him, only to discover Lucy's strangeness or even the existence of the simulator.
But here, in this wilderness, he was most likely the only human for kilometers around.
In this vast expanse, even if people did cross paths, they would choose to simply pass each other by without any greetings or expressions of interest.
It was impossible to know what kind of person one might encounter, or how powerful they could be, or where their moral boundaries lay.
For all he knew, someone might attempt to harm him if he dared to look at them for too long.
In this lawless place, where killing and escaping had no consequences, it was a dangerous game to trust anyone, thus privacy is respected around here.

"good morning Lucy."
A cheerful Lucy appeared in front of Max.
'morning news.'
"huh, what?"
'good morning, I have news.'
" oh, what is it?"
' deep & dark hole close by, ugly stuff inside too much.'
Max kept trying to understand the mental message, but maybe because of Lucy's excitement, he couldn't.
What Max received was too confusing, but after some time, he figured it out.
"hm, interesting. We'll check it out first. It doesn't look like good news.
By the way, did why did you wake up so early?"
'no sleep.'
Max was stunned for a moment. He remembered something. On the detailed information about the mountain ruler, he seems to of read something about not needing to sleep much in mountain form.
