Chương 11: Sentence
Another day passed now signaling two days since he killed those criminals.
Zane was casually sitting in his overprotected cell. No windows, no toilet only metal surrounding him. To pass the time he meditated and communicated with heavens will.
"Hows it going with those elixirs?" Zane casually asked.
"Good I already upgraded a stage to Initiate High." She replied not really caring.
"Nice.." Zane finally said before resuming his thoughts.
Zane didn't really have any idea of how the sentencing would go, he hoped the school would back him up.
"Zane Yang it's your turn." The female officer knocked on the hard metal door before opening it.
Zane stood up and gave her his wrists to be handcuffed per protocol.
As they were walking he got a bit curious about the sentencing.
"So miss officer what's the worst sentence you have seen?" Zane asked walking ahead.
"Torture and execution for a demon." She replied with a smile.
"Oh..I've never met one before, are they really that dangerous?" He asks trying to scratch his head with thr handcuffs.
"They are dangerous but those who hide themselves in human society are ten times more dangerous." She explained more elaborately.
"Really? My teacher said that too you know." Zane thought about the Vice Principals class a few days ago.
She nodded before stopping outside the courtroom. Zane would be representing himself, his family situation didn't really help with these kind of legal procedures.
"The defendant may enter!" A deep manly voice echoed through the room.
The officer opened the door and revealed Zane in his white prison outfit with cuffed wrists and legs walking slowly towards the judge.
Looking around he spotted his mother in the seats alongside the Vice Principal. There were also a few reporters. Zane nodded towards him before proceeding to his seat in front of the judge.
"Take a seat." The judge reminded and everyone sat down.
"Defendant Zane Yang do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth, not concealing or adding anything?" The middle aged man with a finely managed beard asked him.
"I promise and affirm on my honor and conscience that I shall speak the truth and nothing but the truth." Zane said in response holding his cuffed hands up.
The judge nodded before the prosecutor went into action.
"Defendant Zane Yang is it true that two days ago on April fourth you released your inner world?" The young woman asked feeling high and mighty.
"Yes." Zane said not trying to hide anything.
"And why did you do that?" She continued.
"Don't you already know? My sister was kidnapped so I looked for her. Then I met those people and killed them all. Simply I plead guilty, stop this nonsense." Zane said tired of the court procedures.
The woman was just about to retort when the judge stepped in.
"Do you plead guilty to the following charges,
Unauthorized use of a inner world,
10 counts of mass murder,
2 counts of manslaughter,
Damage of government property?" He asked directly.
"I plead guilty." Zane looked at him and said.
Zanes mom started sobbing in the back and the Vice Principal shook his head at his foolosh student pleading guilty..
The judge nodded before proceeding.
"Defendant Zane Yang we find you guilty of 10 counts mass murder, 2 counts manslaughter, unauthorized use of inner world and damage to government property. The court hereby sentences you to banishment from the United Nation country. However for rescuing the children and eliminating a criminal organization the nation will reward you with 10 earth tears, 10 time crystals and 4 relics of your choice." The judge slammed the small mallet ending the court session.
"HAHAHA banished?? Do they think I'm even american?... tsk tsk I'll just return to hui country." Zane started laughing inside.
"They even gave me more resources than the school, is this the main characters luck!?" Zane was suddenly happly smiling ear to ear leaving the courtroom.
"Miss Officer, can I visit my mother?" Zane asked a bit sad now at the possibility of not saying goodbye.
"You may." She said waiting outside the courtroom for the boys mom to come.
Eventually she emerged in tears however realizing Zane was still here she jumped onto him hugging her son tightly.
"Mom why are you crying so much? You already know we are from Hui country, I'm simply going back to my roots." Zane said in mandarin comforting the woman.
"B-but I won't see you..." She muttered still crying.
"Mom I am already an adult, we can talk on the phone. I will go to grandpa and grandma okay?" Zane tried hugging her but couldn't with the handcuffs.
"Yes.." she said a little bit relieved now.
"Don't worry even if I can't come to you, you can come to Hui country to visit me." Zane said lastly still walking with the officer.
"Hahaha! Jackpot!" Zane was relived he could return to Hui country, the states were simply to uncultured.
Escorted back to his cell Zane waited to get banished.
Around another 4 days passed by until he got the greenlight. In the locker room he changed into the robe of the Heavenly Dao Sect from a week prior and walked out to the police car. However the amounts of reporters in the way were truly astonishing.
In the cluster of people he saw one familiar guy. Lu Long.
Zane seeing him made way by pushing the reporters away.
"Junior Brother, how ironic." Zane said in mandarin.
"Senior Brother are you alright?" He asked a bit worried hugging Zane.
"I'm alright however I'm worried you will be alone now." Zane said to him worried about his friend.
"Worry about yourself." He laughed and said.
"What is there to worry about? I'm actually quite glad I got banished. I can now return to Hui country with some treasures." Zane said teasing Lu Long.
"I am no longer Zane Yang, I am Yang Zeng." He said finally before entering the police car.
"Bye Senior Brother! We will meet in the future definitely!" Lu Long said with a smile.
"I couldn't meet Jenna but I guess it's fine, we can talk over the phone." Zeng murmured looking out the car windows.
A/N: Zane will now be Zeng!

Arriving at the airport a small spaceship was ready alongside the items he received from the United Nations. Stepping onto the sleek futuristic spaceship he spoke with the crew.
"Hello." Zeng said greeting them.
The crew were dressed in military uniform ready to proceed with their orders.
"Greetings." The pilot said in his seat a bit tired.
"To Hui Country." Zeng said before sitting down relaxing.
The man nodded and the ship took off flying into the sky.

A/N: Probably forgot to explain the currents world geography..
The United Nations include Canada, US, the whole of south america. Basically the whole north america and southern america.
Europe also united with the help of the EU parliament now being the European Federation.
Africa is compromised of various different nations who took a piece of the land when the war started.
Russia took Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan all of those in the area and unified them.
Meanwhile China (Hui Country) took Taiwan while the other south east Asian countries built alliances with eachother.

After around 30 minutes of flying the futuristic spaceship landed in a local airport at Hui country. Zengs grandparents were probably notified of his arrival in the country but which airport they didn't know.
Zeng had dual citizenship, I guess only one remains now but he quickly passed the airport check. With no money or baggage to his name he wandered the streets of Hui country. Asian people were everywhere, not a single foreigner in sight.
He then received a text.
"Shej City, ...street." Zeng received a text from his mother.
Putting it into the GPS he searched for the city.
"Huh..13 hours away by car?" Zeng said with a sigh.
"Let's get some training in I guess." Zeng murmured, with the different timezones it was already sunset in Hui country.
His max running speed was about 134kmh so it would take a while..
Running on the highway he continued go Shej City.
Around 11 hours passed like this until he reached the city. It was a newly built one after the invasion with long sturdy walls still standing to this day. The only way in was through a tunnel or simply flying inside.
Entering the mini border he stepped into the largely futuristic city. This was a hundred times better than that piece of shit suburbs United Nations he thought..
Checking the GPS again he made his way to the more middle income district.
Eventually he stopped in front of a two story semi futuristic house and knocked on the courtyards door.
Truthfully Zeng had no memories of these grandparents since he had moved from Hui country when being super young.
A few seconds passed until a older lady who seemed to be in her late forties opened the door.
"Hello?" Zeng greeted looking down at the very short woman..
"Grandson?" She said in a bit of shock looking at the overly tall young boy.
"Yes that's me." Zeng said flashing a smile before stepping into the courtyard suddenly.
Altough his Grandma looked fairly young it didn't scare him, anyone who Awakens their Energy can live much longer.
"Oh boy, you have grown so much." A bit excited she grabbed Zengs large hand and guided him in.
"Thank you." He responded with perfect mandarin.
"Are you sure you lived in the United Nations your whole life?" She asked a bit bewildered of his language skills.
"Definitely, I just prefer speaking mandarin whenever I can." Zeng responded with an excuse stepping into the home.
He even had to duck his head a little bit to enter.
Upon entering he immediately noticed a middle aged looking man with scary striking features looking at him.
"Grandpa?" He asked looking at the shorter but well-built man.
"Hahaha! My boy you have really grown you know, every daughter will flock to you." He said a bit shocked at Zengs height.
"You are in the military?" Zeng immediately asked sensing his aura.
The man nodded before walking away into the kitchen.
"Grandpa, do you know how I got here?" Zeng asked a bit curious.
"No, however knowing those United Nations hypocrites you must have not done anything wrong." He replied stirring the stew at the kitchen.
"I got banished, never able to return now." Zeng said taking a seat with his grandmother.
"Banished? That's funny." He laughed a little bit at the word.
"Yeah, my sister got kidnapped so I used my inner world without authority to find her. Then I killed those criminals and now I'm here I guess." Zeng continued drinking water.
"Inner world?" Suddenly the man glanced at him this time much more clearly.
"Mhm." Zeng said.
"The college exam is in four months, you better pass." Zengs Grandfather eventually said finishing the stew.
Zeng nodded and took a bite into the stew.
"Aren't you lonely grandma?" He asked seeing that his grandpa was in the military.
"No, we recently adopted a small child a few years ago, so it has been fine." She replied earnestly.
"Oh really?" Zeng said a bit intrigued.
