The sleeping pills seemed to be ironclad evidence. Everything connected, suggesting that Blanch had instigated William to take action against Isabella, and she had taken the opportunity to bring Felix over, shattering Isabella's self-esteem and ruining her reputation.
Felix was also filled with resentment. The Blanch he remembered was kind and good, incapable of such deeds, but seeing it with his own eyes gave him a different perspective.
"Shirley, you're shameless!" Felix exclaimed angrily.
Blanch was too exhausted to explain herself and simply closed her eyes in fatigue.
How could she not know everything William had done? She was fully aware of her brother's character, which had not changed at all.
William, still shameless, didn't think he had done anything wrong. He asked Blanch in a fawning manner, "Sis, I've avenged you. What's my reward?"
"Avenge? What are you talking about?"
