Chương 74: Chapter 74 : Save Hayate
Fighting a Jonin this early in the story is nothing but a death sentence, I am stronger than before, to the point that I even beat someone like Sasuke but Sasuke is just a Chunin level even after his Sharingan and cures mark.
The only way for me to beat someone like him is to utilise my Shikigami's.
But how ? Gekko is watching.
I just curse under my breath and quickly try to come up with a solution, the best option right now is to get out of here, but can I? Running away with the help of Rabbits' escape was possible in front of someone like Gaara, but Baki is a Jonin, more important even if I can, can I also take Hayate with me in his condition.

I have better chances of fighting him and making enough noise to attract others' attention than all I have to do is hold in here. Seeing this Baki who was planning to sneak attack me as I wasn't looking at him was taken aback, he had a suspicion that Gekko didn't fall unconscious just because of losing too much blood.
When he saw my eyes again his eyes slightly narrowed, because he could be sure that he saw a hint of Red, but that was only for a second, later he saw that the Nara boy in front of him had normal black eyes.
But again he could be sure that he saw red eyes…
I see in this just smiled.

It was a strange feeling, I had a burning feeling in my eyes, not sure whether I have just the Sharingan now or I am now a Uchiha completely?
I really don't wanna be like Kakashi if possible, though I don't think that will be the case considering that I can deactivate my eyes.
I have beaten several Chunin till now but Sasuke was the best, who doesn't want those magical eyes after all.
So taking Sharingan was the natural. And on time as well, just put Hataye unconscious with them, it came naturally to me how to use Genjutsu with them, I have to say that they are really great for Genjutsu, not wondering Itachi was such a badass when using Genjutsu with Sharingan.
Let's see whether they can give me that ace here against Baki to quickly end this battle as well.

Shika had his Sharingan deactivated, he didn't want to show his eyes to Baki right now, he wasn't hiding but he rather use them to get a good element of surprise attack on him.
"Shadow protect Gekko, Snow you are with me," Shika said and the dogs immediately understood what he meant, the white dog remained just ahead little ahead of Shika while the black dog bounced back to protect the unconscious Gekko Hayate.
"Boy, so you really think that you can beat me with just a dog." Baki said with a smirk, though he was grumbling seeing how things were turning troublesome but he wasn't nervous at all, no matter if even Shika beats Sasuke, in Baki's eyes the boy was no match to someone like him.
"Hmm, no actually. I am just a Genin… you are a Jonin. It would be ignorant of me to think that I can beat you that easily." Shika replied, making Baki amused and then suddenly he remembered what this boy in front of him said in his fight in the preliminary.
"I don't let my comrades die, if I am dying then I will make sure that I take my enemy with me," Baki remember his speech, even though he has to say that he was a little impressed back then.
Shika had no idea what Baki was thinking, he just said what he truly believed, and that was the reason he had to put Hayate out so that he could do this.
"So, let me even the playing field here…" Shika replied with a smile on his face. Baki hearing this immediately was on the defensive, he had seen the boy enough in his fight against that Uchiha to know that he was a good strategist.
"Well of Unknown Abyss…
Gama Plus Nue." Shika said with a smile on his face, and the next second his shadow moved, making Baki immediately jump back, he thought that Shika was using the Shadow possession.
However, to his surprise that wasn't the case, Shika's shadow morphed and soon from his shadow came out multiple toads with white wings behind them.
He was a little taken aback seeing this, he knew that Konoha holds the contract for three holy places, but this was the first time he had seen a toad who have wings.
"Alright then, Attack." Shika replies and rushes at Baki, at the same time his Shikigami also rush at Baki with full speed.
'I have to end this fight fast, so no holding back.' Shika.
