Chương 50: Chapter 50 : Karin 3

"Why did you save me?" Karin was silent for a long time, perhaps afraid of the height as we soared on Nue's back.

"Well, honestly, I don't have any particular reason. Mainly, I helped because I saw your red hair. If I'm not wrong, you're an Uzumaki, right? Konoha used to have a good relationship with the village of Uzu back then.

Or maybe I just couldn't let a girl like you die in front of me," I replied with a shrug. Karin blinked, and a slight blush appeared on her face.

It was probably the first time someone had called her beautiful. I wondered what kind of life she had lived up to now.

"Hmm, thank you." After a moment of silence, she finally spoke, expressing her gratitude.

I nodded. More talking with her could wait; right now, I just wanted to get away from Gaara and other dangerous teams around.

Not to mention, I needed to tend to Karin's injuries. I could see she was holding back the pain and acting like nothing was wrong, but the pain alone was enough to nearly render her unconscious. She was barely moving her leg, and the blood wasn't stopping even after I quickly bandaged the wound.

"Let's find a safe place and look at that leg of yours first," I said, noting that the girl was enduring the pain silently. This response seemed to reflect her past hardships.

.

"I'm no doctor, but I have to say that your leg is in pretty bad shape," I said with a sigh. Gaara's attack had the same effect on Karin's leg as it did on Lee's; her bones were shattered, and fragments were scattered throughout her leg.

It hadn't even been 10 minutes, but the leg was already turning dark. It was a shame; she had nice legs.

Hearing me, Karin's mask, which she had been using to hide her weakness and helplessness, began to crack. She didn't cry out in pain, but tears were hard to hold back when she realized she might never walk normally again.

Seeing her try to hide her tears by pretending to clean her glasses, I momentarily agreed with Orochimaru's view on life being fragile. But that didn't mean I agreed with his human experiments and killing kids.

I looked back at Karin, who was slipping into desperation, and sighed.

"As I said, it's pretty bad, but there is a way to help you," I said, making sure to convey that it depended on whether I wanted to help her.

She didn't care; hearing that there was a way to save her leg, she looked at me with hopeful eyes. It almost made me help her out of the goodness of my heart, but I couldn't do that.

"I can't heal you, but you need to understand what it really means to show someone that you have the ability to heal this kind of wound. It's very dangerous for me as well.

Do you understand what I'm talking about?" I asked solemnly.

She immediately understood, especially since she had firsthand experience with this type of situation.

"I...I...I won't tell anyone," she replied, or at least tried to, but it was clear that talking was difficult due to the pain.

"Okay, but remember, you can't tell anyone how I healed you. Even my own village doesn't know about this ability. It could cost me my life if I were to do this." I reiterated, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.

She nodded, and knowing her history, I was confident she wouldn't lie about this.

"Okay."

After confirming that I was going to help her, I took another look at the wound. If I used the reverse curse technique with the round deer, I could likely stop the bleeding, but it might not heal her completely.

Healing the skin wound is not that hard. To heal her completely, I would have to summon the deer.

Sigh. I really didn't want to do this, especially in front of someone, but sooner or later, my powers would be revealed anyway.

With that, I formed a hand sign, and my shadow began to move.

In front of Karin, a majestic-looking deer emerged from my shadow. Karin, who could use the Mind's Eye of Kagura, sensed the incredible amount of pure vitality radiating from the deer with awe and astonishment.

"Please heal her leg," I requested, and without hesitation, the deer lowered its head to her leg. Karin's body stiffened, but she remained still.

As soon as the deer's nose touched her leg, a white light enveloped it, and in the next moment, all her pain, the blood, and the wound were gone.

She, who had been suffering, stared in shock, unable to believe what she was seeing.

"What?" That was all she could manage to say after witnessing the miracle.
