Chương 5: (5)trying rhythm echo and Karla’s gift

(Yoriichi pov)

As she was going up the stairs to shower upon my suggestion I remembered that in the Kengan asura series, her grandfather was an overprotective man who worries too easily.

"Hey Karla! Do you mind telling me your grandfather's number so I can let him know the situation?!" I shout up the stairs

After about five seconds I hear the squeak of the bathroom door opening and I hear her response,"sure!!" And she recited the number," okay thanks I'll leave some clothes by the door for you to wear."

"Thanks!" Was all I heard before I hear the door close again,leaving me to get some clothes for her to wear.

After I placed them by the sink I input the number she said and waited for it to ring.

It didn't even hit the third ring before someone answered. "Hello,who's is this?"

"Hello sir,am I talking to raioh Kure by chance?" I ask the person on the other line and the person answered.

"Yes this is raioh Kure,are you calling for a job young man?"

"No sir,I'm calling for Karla Kure since her phone got destroyed during a job"

It was on what I said that I felt the room go cold as I feel extreme killing intent on the other line.

"Were you the one who destroyed her phone?" I hear raioh say with anger in his voice.

"No sir I saw her being chased by who I assume were guards of the target,and I took her into my home to hide."

"…thank you for helping her,what's the situation If I may inquire?" He asks without any intent on his side.

"Well after I let her in I misdirected those guards and now she is showering,due to her phone being broken I am calling for her."

"Showering?"

"Yeah since it was late I told her she can spend the night here,but don't worry sir,I'm letting her sleep in my room while I take the couch."

The killing intent was back but it was just a sliver being projected towards me," may I ask where you live,I'll be there to pick her up first thing tomorrow morning."

"Alright then sir,I live on the border between shibiya and lion,is there anything else you want to say?" I ask being polite and gentleman like.

"Yes,if you touch her I'll make you wish death was your first option if I see you." He says with a lot of killing intent before hanging up.

"That guy is…nicer than I thought." I say to myself while looking at my phone,noticing I got a notification from my chat.

I clicked it and a prompt appeared in my vision.

I see a phone manifest onto the coffee table as I hear the prompt continue speaking.

[other reward is now being created]

[reward skill (rhythm echo)(hunterXhunter)(sr rarity) has been created,now implanting into body]

Suddenly I get a brief headache as knowledge of the skill was being rammed into my head,and just as fast as I felt the pain it subsided.

Getting up,I smile at how deadly the skill actually was,'sr rarity my ass,this skill is perfect for confusing my enemies' I think to myself.

Moving the coffee table to the side so I have an open space to try my new skill out,I focus on my footwork making sure to hit a certain rhythm and while doing it I look back and see three afterimages of myself appear being me.

"Umm…Yoriichi,why is there three of you now?" I hear a voice from behind me startling me.

Trying to control my heavy breathing I look over and see Karla wearing my white tshirt and white shorts,steam still coming off her body.

"That was… an assassin technique,im not an assassin but I learnt it from the zoldyk family."

What I said was true,rhythm echo was from the zoldyk family,they just don't exist in this world.

I look back as I see Karla looking at me with sparkles in her eyes,"holy crap that technique is cool!! The idea of creating afterimages to confuse a target is perfect for assassins,where did you meet the zoldyk family?"

I chuckle at her enthusiasm toward the newly acquired technique,and go to the coffee table to give her the phone with the chat group.

"The zoldyks don't exist in this world because they are in another world,and this phone can let you get skills like the one I used just now."

I hand her the phone which she took,but she looked at me with skepticism in her eyes,"another world? Just don't tell me if you don't want to,I'm not gonna judge."

I look at her and understanding that she didn't believe me," then press the app that says chat group,and then say that again."

She looks at the phone until she sees the app,and when she presses it a giant prompt appeared in front of the both of us,making the young Kure enter a fighting stance.

[welcome user (succubus of the Kure family) to the battle maniacs chat group,now administering gift pack]

Suddenly I box materialized in front of Karla who looked at it in shock before looking at me,"is this real,I've only read about these chat groups in novels,but never have one happen to myself or anyone in my life."

Chuckling at her shock I hold her shoulder,"welcome to the chat,im the admin of the chat group,and I hope you enjoy your time on here,now go ahead and open your gift box,im curious what you'll get."

She looks at me for a second before putting her hand on the gift box,and it opens upon her touch.

[along with the template the gift box also provides the teigu murasame(user can't die if user gets cut by it) hope you enjoy your gift]

(A/N : so basically she has the murasame but with the you can't cut yourself weakness removed,so she won't die if she cuts herself)

Suddenly a katana appeared in Karla's hands,it was an extremely sharp looking blade the size of a persons arm,on the hilt it had a red guard with what looked like talismans on the hilt.

Karla looks at the blade in absolute silence,with the only sounds of breathing coming from her.

After she finishes looking at the blade she puts in back in the sheathe.

"Now then let's get some curry" I say getting a woohoo from her,as I think to myself,'this day really is looking up.'

I was in my study at my family estate when my son appears,giving me a look saying this was urgent.

I look at him with a smile,"sirzechs! How is my son doing these days,you got something good to tell me I hope?" I say expecting him to attempt to stop the arranged marriage for his sister.

"Father…remember when you said you'll break the engagement if I find someone better than riser?"

Knowing this was coming I look at him,"son…get on with it,this attempt is pointless,unless a lost clan appears again I won't budge."I say taking a sip from the whiskey I poured two minutes prior.

"Actually father…I fount a descendant of the lost Sparta clan." I hear my son say,prompting me to put down my whiskey mid sip.

"Are you certain? The true devil trigger of the Sparta clan is the most sought after bloodline ability surpassing even the phenex clan" I say with a tone of intrigue.

"The descendant's bloodline was sealed away until recently when his mother passed away,the mother being a seraph."

Hearing this I look at my son with shock,"YOU MEAN HE'S NOT ONLY A DESCENDANT OF THE SPARDA CLAN BUT HE'S ALSO A DESCENDANT OF GABRIEL?!!"

"Yes father,it seems she sealed it away so the enemies of the boys father didn't find them."I hear my son say while I digest the idea of an angel and devil hybrid.

"Does anyone else know of him?"

"Only yasaka, who came to thank him for getting her daughter out of a tall tree,but other than that,he's a nice guy,I also gave him a kuoh academy acceptance letter,he will be going on Monday,I've notified his old school letting them know he was accepted into the academy,hopefully rias will like him."

Nodding at how my son dealt with this,I let him know that I'll talk to the phenex patriarch about breaking the engagement and he leaves to continue his work.

"…I'm glad that only the underworld knows about the boy's existence,if heaven found out their would be a faction custody war." I say to myself with a chuckle before pouring another glass of whiskey for myself.

Meanwhile in heaven,a lone figure was at a desk when some information about yoriichi comes to light.

The figure hearing about yoriichi being the son of the last sparda member and his sister,the figure looks up at an empty throne.

"I'm an uncle…" the figure says as a tear of pure joy fell down his smooth unblemished face.

"So Gabriel lives on in you,on my name as Micheal the seraph of heaven,may god bless you and give you protection in the name of my sister…amen."

So yeah now not only does zeoctis know of yoriichi,but even Micheal knows of him,should I do a side story pertaining to a custody battle between the seraph of heaven and the Duke of the underworld,please give me your answer.

Also I hope that the template I've given Karla is perfect for her,I was struggling on whether to give her akame or Hassan of serenity as her template,but I chose akame in the end.
