"Surpirse!"
Sullivan spoke to Rin, who was now panicking. She didn't think Archer would intentionally lead him to her place like this.
"Don't look at me like that, Rin. You know from my report that his sense is very good. He could find you if he wanted to. So no need to be dramatic."
Archer smirked, which made Rin really angry at him. Sullivan saw that and couldn't help but laugh.
Sullivan knew that Rin's anger towards Archer was justified, but he also understood that Archer's actions were meant to prove how capable he was.
Rin was stubborn. If he didn't show her the full extent of how capable this individual was. She might miscalculate and do something stupid instead.
Despite that, Sullivan chose to play along with Archer.
"She is furious. I am really sorry for her to have to deal with a servant like you, Archer."
Sullivan's heartfelt comment made Rin calm down a little bit. At least someone understood how hard it was for her to take care of a rebellious servant.
Rin took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. She then greeted Sullivan with a smile. Inside her head, there were many things that needed to be adjusted. She knew that the individual could be anywhere and do anything without her notice.
Archer might be able to tell, but he wouldn't stick by her side 24/7. So she needed some countermeasure that could ensure that she would know when he would appear or when he was nearby.
And that could be achieved by knowing this individual better.
"Hello, Nice to meet you, My name is Tohsaka Rin, The owner of Fuyuki City."
Sullivan, seeing her greet him politely. He also did the same for her. Even though he knew what she desired right now. He decided not to look into it too much. Or else she might notice.
Rin was one of the characters who was very intelligent. So he needed to be more cautious in his actions.
"My name is Sullivan Morningstar. Nice to meet you too."
"Morningstar?"
Rin was surprised by his surname. She didn't know his surname or even his name.
Archer just called him the mysterious man. He just popped out of nowhere. So there was no trace of him to trace back.
Rin's curiosity was aroused as she wondered about Sullivan's background. Someone with the surname of The Satan wouldn't be a small time player.
"Oh, you know about my Surname? Can you share your knowledge with me? That would be very helpful."
Sullivan threw out a piece of meat. If she wanted to form an alliance with him. She should take it.
And Rin knew that. So she took it with grace.
"Your surname had a great meaning behind it. After all, it came from the Bible. and to my knowledge. That surname belongs to Lucifer, The Satan, The archangel who fell from grace."
Hearing what Rin said, he felt something in him. It made him very angry, but he could control it.
Rin explained the meaning of his surname more and more. until he couldn't hold it and said it coldly.
"Stop"
The word was spoken, It was like a decree. Rin, and even Archer, couldn't even move. They were shocked at his authority over them.
Sullivan then took a deep breath and stopped being a dick. His power had gone out of control just by hearing the word "God"
"I am truly sorry. I felt like destroying something when I heard something inside the Bible."
Sullivan stopped releasing his power, then Rin and Archer went back to normal.
Whatever was inside Rin's head before was now completely gone. She looked at Sullivan in fear.
"Y-You come from the Age Of God!"
"No, I am not, But I might be one of their descendants like Gilgamesh. I am something called Nephalem."
Hearing that he was a Nephalem, Rin's reaction was even more stronger.
Gilgamesh was born to a human father and a goddess. But a Nephalem was someone who was born of the devil and an angel. They were strong because they processed the strengths of both sides but abadoned their weaknesses.
"Oh, don't have to fear me that much, I don't have any plans to do something bad to you. You have given me so much information, so I think I should repay you a little."
Sullivan moved his hand, and then a ton of magic crystals and jewels materialized in front of Rin, who was now forgetting about the fear she felt earlier.
"A-All of these crystals and jewels contain so much magical energy!"
Rin exclaimed in awe, her eyes widening as she gazed at the shimmering treasures before her. The realization that Sullivan had just created them out of thin air means he might be in possession of true magic.
She looked at him and wanted to ask him about it, but she knew that she should not ask about his power. It was a delicate matter. It should have been him who offered to tell her if he wanted to. And she didn't see any reason for him to tell her.
No one would be an idiot to tell anyone about their power.
"Well, It's pretty late now, so I have to take my leave, and I will tell you something about the holy grail war that will take place in this city. I will not participate in it, but if you want my help, you can ask me for the right price."
Sullivan winked at her before he apparated away. He didn't intend to participate in the holy grail war, but he would help Tohsaka Rin in order for him and Ai to live peacefully on her land. He will just wait for one month of cooldown, and then he will bring her back to his world.
Rin looked at where he once stood with a complicated gaze. She didn't know if it was the right choice to become an ally with such a being.
Archer looked at Rin. He knew how she felt right now.
"Don't think too much into it. Just let it be natural. He might be a demigod or even a god, but he isn't that bad. At least I knew he was a protector first, then a destroyer."
Rin nodded, taking in Archer's words. She couldn't deny that there was a sense of reassurance in his perspective. She decided to trust Archer's judgment and give this a chance. After all, sometimes the most unexpected alliances can lead to the greatest victories.
