Chương 55: Chapter 55 Bewilderment
Jean was so embarrassed now. She had begged Sullivan to marry her! She didn't know what made her say that. Her emotion was overflowing. She needed to release it. And She chose to release it on him.
'I wanna die!'
Sullivan looked at Jean who was now squatting while covering her face with her hands. She was trying to look as small as she could.
"Hey you worried too much Didn't I agree to be your boyfriend why are you so embarrassed now?"
Sullivan said calmly. He didn't think that he would be dating Jean now. What an unexpected turn of events.
Jean heard him say that could only look up at him. She noticed that His face was red too but only a little. So It wasn't just her. He too was embarrassed but could hold it in more than her.
'Your poker face can not help you this time Sol'
She smiled beautifully at him. Sullivan looked away.
"Well we should go to see the others. I promised them that I would bring them out to play."
"Yeah let's go"
Jean stood up then went close to Sullivan before holding his hand.
"This is my privilege now."
"Okay"
Sullivan let Jean do whatever she wanted. She was now his girlfriend after all.
The two left the danger room. Ororo now felt she was a third wheel, They didn't even talk to her. Sullivan she could understand but Jean.
She could only shake her head before following them. She needed to go with them to take care of her students.
Inside the living room. Sullivan and Jean met with the others. There Kurt Kitty and Anna, only three people will come with him.
"Are you all ready"
Sullivan asked everyone. They looked more than ready. They didn't go out much these days.
Kitty jumped in front of Sullivan and said with a smile.
"Yes, we are ready. I really want to know now how you will bring us with you!"
"Yeah I want to know too!"
Kurt was enthusiastic like Kitty. Now he was disguised with hard light technology. He looked normal now.
Anna after watching them for a sec looked at Sullivan then speaking.
"If you cannot, We could use our van right Miss Ororo."
"Yes and I will be your driver. Logan is busy now"
Sullivan looked at Ororo…He forgot about her because He was taking care of Jean.
Jean was now hugging his arm with a smile. She didn't seem to care much about anything now. She just wanted to spend time with him.
Sullivan coughed in his hand a little before speaking.
"Don't worry you will understand"
After that Sullivan led them to his car. They saw that only Lamborghini was there and no other vehicle.
Kitty was confused and wanted to ask him how all of them could fit into the car and when Sullivan opened the door everyone was shocked except Jean she already knew it.
Inside the car was very spacious.
"How!"
Kitty jumped inside the car and explored inside. She tried to fade through the car but she couldn't.
"There something block my power"
Kurt tried his power too but he could not use his power!
"Did…Did you just say that you can not use your power in there…"
Anna was the most shocked out of everyone not because the inside was spacious but because it could block their power.
Kitty and Kurt looked at each other and understood what this meant!
"Anna, come and try. I will let you touch me but only a little bit okay"
Kitty will make a sacrifice for her best friend.
Sullivan was confused he didn't use any rune that could block their power. but he remembers that their power was related to space and matter. He now understands.
His extension charm rune was messed with by its rule so the two could not use their power there.
But Anna's power was Drain.
Sullivan's eyes went wide. They misunderstood it. If Kitty was touched by her then She would be in danger.
Anna was now taking off her glove and tried to touch Kitty's hand a little.
But before She could she was stopped. Sullivan was now holding her hand and pulling her hand away from Kitty.
"You are okay?!"
Anna asked Sullivan in bewilderment. He shook his head.
"No, I am not. you can not drain me much because of my resistance."
Sullivan could feel the drain but only a little. If he wanted to He could let her drain him all day because his vitality regeneration overtake her by a large margin.
Jean and Ororo sigh a breath of relief. They didn't think that Sullivan would touch her hand like that but it was good that he had high resistance to her power.
"Don't do something that dangerous again"
Jean said to Sullivan. He only nodded his head he knew that he would be fine though. She was just worried. She was now checking him with her power.
