Chương 8: Chapter 7:Battle With Celestial Spirits
Lucy left the Heartfilia Manor, determined to prepare for her upcoming battle with the dark mages. Her heart was set on mastering her new abilities and confronting those who had wronged her family. She made her way to her training grounds, clutching her celestial keys tightly.
In the clearing of her training ground, Lucy took a deep breath, preparing for a unique and important summoning. "Here we go," she muttered, holding up the first key. "Open, Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!"
Aquarius materialized in a burst of water, her stern expression scrutinizing Lucy. "Alright, brat. What's the occasion this time?"
"Just wait," Lucy said, her eyes gleaming with anticipation as she moved to the next key. "Open, Gate of the Archer! Sagittarius!"
Sagittarius appeared, bowing gracefully. "Lady Lucy, I am at your service."
"And now," Lucy continued, her voice growing stronger with each key. "Open, Gate of the Crab! Cancer!"
Cancer emerged, his pincers snapping eagerly. "Lucy-sama, how can I assist you today?"
Aquarius, Sagittarius, and Cancer exchanged confused glances. "What's going on?" Aquarius demanded, her tone sharp. "Why summon us all at once?"
"You'll see," Lucy replied, a mysterious smile playing on her lips. "There's more. Much more."
She held up the next key with a flourish. "Open, Gate of the Stars! Astralis!"
A swirl of celestial light formed into Astralis, a tall, regal figure with shimmering silver hair and a cloak adorned with constellations. His eyes glowed like the stars themselves. "My Queen," Astralis said in a voice as soothing as a night sky. "What do you require?"
Aquarius narrowed her eyes. "Who's this?" she asked, clearly puzzled.
Ignoring her, Lucy pressed on. "Open, Gate of the Nebulas! Nebulon!"
Nebulon emerged, his form a swirling mass of blue and purple clouds. He radiated a calming energy. "Lucy-sama, it is good to see you," he said, his voice echoing softly.
"Open, Gate of the Moon! Lunara!" Lucy called next.
Lunara appeared, bathed in soft, silvery light, her long hair flowing like liquid moonlight. Her eyes were kind yet piercing. "My Queen, I'm here. How can I aid you?"
"Open, Gate of the Sun! Solarius!" Lucy continued, her excitement mounting.
Solarius materialized in a blaze of golden light, his presence radiating warmth and power. "Lucy-sama, it is an honor to be summoned," he said, his voice resonating with energy.
"Open, Gate of the Aether! Aetherion!" Lucy declared, her anticipation palpable.
Aetherion appeared, surrounded by swirling winds that lifted his long, flowing cloak. His eyes were sharp, reflecting his command over the skies. "My Queen, what do you need?" he asked.
Finally, Lucy held up the last key. "Open, Gate of the Storms! Tempestara!"
Tempestara arrived in a crackle of thunder and lightning, her eyes sparking with electricity. "My Queen, I'm ready for anything," she declared.
The three celestial spirits Aquarius, Sagittarius, and Cancer were visibly taken aback. "Who are these spirits?" Sagittarius asked, his usual calm demeanor slightly shaken.
"There are no such spirits in the celestial realm," Cancer added, his pincers snapping nervously.
Lucy chuckled softly. "Oh, that's right. I haven't told you yet. These spirits are part of a special group. Actually, my sensei, Rimuru, created them."
The three spirits stared at her, their eyes wide with shock. "What? There's no such thing as a newly created celestial spirit," Aquarius said, her voice filled with disbelief. "How could your sensei have created them? Their aura is even stronger than the Celestial King's!"
Lucy shrugged with a hint of amusement. "Eh, is that so? Haha, well, my sensei mentioned something about being a god or something like that."
Aquarius, Sagittarius, and Cancer were speechless, their shock evident as they tried to process this new information.
Turning to the six celestial spirits, Lucy asked, "Hey, where do you guys go if I don't summon you?"
Nebulon, with a gentle tone, answered, "Actually, Rimuru-sama created an alternative celestial realm for us when he returned to his universe. He went all out and created many celestial spirits, so there are a lot of us in that realm. We still have contact with him; he sometimes visits us there."
Lucy's eyes widened. "Is that so? That's amazing. Please say hello to him for me next time you see him. Tell him his student is doing well, haha."
The spirits nodded, a sense of warmth in their responses. "Of course, My Queen," Lunara said with a smile. "We'll be sure to pass on your message."
Lucy stood in the center of her training ground, her gaze sweeping over the assembled celestial spirits. The energy around her crackled with anticipation. She faced Astralis, Nebulon, Lunara, Solarius, Aetherion, and Tempestara, her heart pounding with determination.
"Do you all wonder why I summoned you all at once?" Lucy asked, her voice steady.
"No, we do not," replied Astralis, his tone calm and composed. "We are here to serve you, My Queen."
"Actually," Lucy continued, "I wanted to show my mama's celestial spirits that I'm strong enough to handle myself. Tomorrow, I'm going on a journey to hunt down the one who killed them. I need them to know that I can take care of myself and that they don't have to worry."
She paused, a determined glint in her eyes. "So, to prove it, I want all of you to attack me at once."
Aquarius's eyes widened in concern. "Lucy, you can't—"
"Trust me, Aquarius," Lucy cut her off, flexing her biceps in front of her. "I can handle it."
Cancer and Sagittarius watched in stunned silence as the celestial spirits exchanged glances, their auras glowing with intense power.
The six celestial spirits took their positions, each preparing for their attack. Astralis raised his hands, and constellations began to shimmer in the air. "Starfall Barrage!" he called, unleashing a storm of shooting stars.
Nebulon generated a swirling mass of blue and purple energy, forming a dense Nebula Shield. "Nebula Burst!" he declared, causing a concentrated explosion of nebula energy that shook the ground.
Lunara, her eyes glowing with moonlight, summoned a Lunar Ray that shot towards Lucy, while crafting a Moonlit Mirage to confuse her. "Reflective Barrier!" she added, forming a shield to protect herself from retaliation.
Solarius, surrounded by intense heat, unleashed a Solar Beam and followed up with a Flare Eruption, sending waves of solar energy crashing towards Lucy.
Aetherion conjured a Cyclone Trap, his powerful winds swirling around Lucy. "Gale Strike!" he shouted, sending a powerful blast of wind to disorient her.
Tempestara summoned a thunderstorm, lightning flashing across the sky. "Thunderbolt Strike!" she roared, directing a bolt of lightning straight at Lucy, followed by a Storm Surge to create powerful gusts of wind and rain.
Lucy stood her ground as the celestial spirits' combined attacks rained down upon her. The shooting stars from Astralis struck her, but she barely flinched. The nebula energy from Nebulon exploded around her, but the void magic she had learned absorbed the energy. The moonlight beam from Lunara and the solar attacks from Solarius did nothing more than heat the air around her. Aetherion's cyclone and Tempestara's lightning struck, but Lucy's strength coated with void magic neutralized their effects.
Lucy continued to endure the attacks, purposely taking each hit to prove her resilience. With a determined look on her face, she gathered her own energy and prepared her counterattack.
"Now, watch this," she said, holding her hands aloft as void energy and black flames swirled above her head. "Abyssal Inferno Sphere!"
The sphere of swirling void energy and black flames grew larger and more intense. Lucy hurled it towards her opponents, and upon impact, it exploded with a cataclysmic force. The blast engulfed the training ground, the explosion spreading outwards and absorbing any remaining magic in its vicinity. The celestial spirits were thrown back, their attacks nullified by the overwhelming power of Lucy's spell.
As the smoke cleared, Lucy stood amidst the wreckage, her breathing steady and her body unharmed. The celestial spirits, though exhausted, appeared impressed and subdued.
Lucy approached Aquarius, who stood on the sidelines with tears in her eyes. She pulled her into a warm embrace, patting her head gently. "You don't have to worry about me, Aquarius. I can handle myself now. I'm stronger than ever. I'll take down those dark mages and make sure my parents are avenged."
Aquarius's tears flowed freely as she looked up at Lucy, her worry replaced by pride. "I… I'm so proud of you, Lucy."
"That's all for today, everyone," Lucy said, her voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you for your help."
With a final, reassuring smile, Lucy sent the celestial spirits back to their realms, each one disappearing with a nod of acknowledgment. The training ground fell silent once more, the echoes of the battle fading away.
