Chương 3: Departing for the Capital

After a heated discussion, the clergy resolved to engage Luna with Shin to ensure the church would benefit from his ascent.

Though Luna was not entirely satisfied with this arrangement, she had no recourse unless she became powerful enough to fully subdue the church or found someone with greater potential than Shin.

Sharuna made a decision: "Let's arrange a meeting with the head of the Luppter household right away." Everyone sprang into action, leaving the meeting room to prepare.

Sharuna turned to Luna, her expression a mix of anxiety, worry, and determination. "I know I put you on the spot," she said, "but we've detected more movement from that cult. If Shin Luppiter becomes a top powerhouse someday, your marriage to him will give us greater authority and reassure the populace."

Luna nodded. She trusted her mother and had heard much about Shin Luppiter the only son of one of the empire's strongest nobles and engaged to the first imperial princess. The idea of being engaged to him wasn't entirely unwelcome.

Zoran and Shin sat across from each other in the study after lunch. Zoran began, "Your awakening marks the beginning of your cultivation journey. Usually, we'd undertake this together, but you must head to the capital to meet Valeri and your father-in-law."

Zoran's expression revealed a touch of sadness; he longed to spend more time with his newly awakened son, training side by side.

Shin nodded sharing the sentiment but there was nothing they could do about it the emperor had ordered Shin to come to the capital right after he awakened. As they sat there looking dejectedly at each other Deborah entered the room and said "Oh come on stop with this sad party he will only be gone for around a month and a half after you can train all you want with him!"

As Zoran heard this he immediately perked up 'She is right.' He thought.

"Okay Shin go prepare all the belongings you will need for this journey I will also prepare a quick note with some elementary information about cultivation and some other things," Zoran said with newfound enthusiasm.

After Shin finished preparing everything they needed, he handed it over to the coachman to load onto the carriage. Once everything was set, Shin and Laura climbed aboard, ready to begin their journey to the capital. Accompanying them were 30 guards, each riding an elp a fearsome creature resembling a bear with massive wings, fiery red fur, blood-red eyes, and formidable claws. In the Luppiter duchy, these elps boasted strength equivalent to that of a Peak Lord realm warrior.

Waving goodbye to his parents they finally set off to the capital.

Along the way, you'll encounter some ruins we discovered. Although no one has been able to gain entry, I believe you're special and might succeed. Now, let's discuss the cultivation realms:

However, rather than feeling discouraged, he became even more motivated to grind for system points and enhance his strength.
