Chương 23: Chapter 22: The End of the Hunter Exam
(Yumi POV)
I look around what I'd guess was the courtyard after tracing my steps. Thankfully I see the three men I was looking for and bashfully intrupt their conversation.
"Oh I know about Kukuroo Mountain!" I say as (maybe a but thankfully) their conversation didn't stray much from canon as Pokkle was walking away having already finished his conversation with the three.
Everyone looks at me with curiosity at what I know (as they had long gotten used to me popping out of no where).
But of course I get interrupted as the plot MUST go on!
"Gon" Satotz calls out drawing everyone's attention from me to the lilac haired instructor.
"Mr. Satotz!" Gon calls out running up to the man.
"Gon you frogot this" the examinor says holding out Gons hunter license which her graciously accepts.
He then turns to me.
"Yumi did Menchi give you yours?" Which i nod to rembering how after my little laugh i (finally) noticed the hunter license next to me with a little note.
'Dont follow your dreams, achieve them'
"Ah, do you have a moment?" Satotz suddenly asks holding out his hand holding up one finger as if to emphasize his words.
Gon looks back at us all as if asking permission which Leorio and Kurapika do catch the hint and excuse themselves. But I don't budge. I reiterate my intentions once the others leave.
I cross my arms walking up to Mr. Satotz. "If you're talking to Gon, you're talking to me as well"
'Okay guys, I know what you're all thinking. And I swear I was just feeling a bit more protective because of how helpless I was in Killua leaving. I'm not being dramatic I swear! Wait how am I even sure people are reading this! Wait, do I want them to read this?! I litterly just had a mental breakdown. Where there people other than me and Menchi who saw that!!!'
While I was having an extensential crisis lost in thought
The conversation had already moved to the chair where Gon patted on a seat beside him which I skip to happily.
'Oh Gon! You're so cute!!!! I really hope people aren't reading this and thinking I'm a pedo. I swear I'm not!'
(Yumi POV, Time Skip and few minutes later cause author-chan doesn't want to write out the entire conversation)
Gon was running away and I was prepared to walk after him when Satotz called my name causing me to freeze.
"And Yumi?"
"Yes Satotz?"
"How long have you been able to sense that energy"
I cock my head to the side as I had completely forgotten about my bullshit story about being able to sense nen to drive my point home and assumed that he found out about me sensing emotions.
"Since I was a child"
Satotz nods about to add more but holds back so I continue walking away.
"Have a great adventure Yumi" He finally says simply, but I'm too far to hear by then.
As I walk in I see the four by the computer and as I join them they all sense my presence and turn to me.
"Yumi you told us you know somthing about Kukuroo Mountain?" Kurapika asks the map of the location glaring off his features.
I nod. "I actually have an old freind who works at the Zoldick manner".
All of their gaps drop, but before anyone could speak Gon shouts out.
"REALLY! Yumi coudl you talk to your freind for us?! Maybe they could leas us to Killua."
"Well I'm quite sure they are really close to Killua. The real question is wether they remeber me or not. It has been awhile"
Kurapika always the suspicious one narrowed his eyes. "Why didn't you tell Killua about this?"
I shrug "I saw no need to"
"Yeah Kurapika! Lay off on the detective act!" Leorio says defending Yumi which successfully causes Kurapika to back down.
"Okay then, to reach their it would take three days by airship. When would you guys want to leave?"
"Today!" Gon shouts. "Right now!"
"I second that!" I scream with enthusiasm at saving Killua as fast as possible.
"There's no objections from me!" Leorio adds leaning over Kurapikas shoulder.
"Perfect!" Kurapika says matching his freinds enthusiasm. "I'll order the tickets now!"
(Yumi POV, Time Skip a few hours)
"Oh it looks like a hold u-" I jump out of the car unto the side of the highway with a red backpack I had recently bought for this trip causing bewilderment for Kurapika and Leorio while only causing Gon to have a huge smile on his face.
"I should've thought of that!" He says as he soon run after me.
"Gon! Yumi!" Leorio starts scrambling to get his things.
"Wait up!" Kurapika finishes already out the door.
As we're running Leorio disbelieving couldn't help but ask. "Yumi, do you even know how far the airport is?"
I turn around while running which seemingly doesn't worry anyone as they doubted I'd actually fall.
"Well. I want to rescue Killua as soon as possible" I say with a huge smile. "Right Gon!" I finish before finally running the right way.
"Of course!" He replies happily causing Leorio to sigh in defeat exchanging glances with Kurapika before finally making an effort to catch up with the two of you.
"Running like this reminds me of the Hunter exam" Kurapika soon says reminiscing.
"Thats right!" Gon replies "This nothing compared to that..."
"Hell" Yumi finished under her breath causing everyone to laugh.
"You've got that right!" Leorio shouts.
"Now who wants to race to the airport?" Gon questions.
"You read my mind" Yumi says smiling mischievously.
"Okay then Ready!" Gon starts
"Set" Kurapika continues.
"GO!" Leorio finished as Gon jumps in the air. Yumi rembering this image in the anmie was just glad to be a part of it. Finally. As their freind.
Hey everyone Seeker here! This is definitely on the shorter end of chapters but I honestly felt like this was the best way to end it. It honestly wouldn't feel quite right if I ended it any other way.

3. Menchi (if you couldn't tell she's mine, and not only cause she's the only girl)

4. Buhara (he's a huge glutinous teddy bear)
5. Lippo (I guess he's not bad of my knowledge but I'm curious to why him)
