The All Valley Tournament was fast approaching, and we were more than ready. Robby and Sam had grown significantly stronger than their canon counterparts, thanks to my influence. As for me, I had reached a level of strength comparable to Daniel in karate. My physique was exceptional, and my speed was such that opponents often saw only a flash before they lost the match. Where I truly excelled was in my striking power; my blows were strong enough to crack skulls and break bones. In one-on-one fights, I was nearly unstoppable, and everyone recognized that.
A Trip to the Harbor
After finishing training for the day, Robby approached me. "Hey Jack, can you take me somewhere?"
"No problem, but where do you want to go?" I replied.
"I'll tell you in the car," he said, a hint of mystery in his voice.
I shrugged, and we walked to my car. Once inside, I started driving. "Can you take me to the harbor? I have to deal with some friends from the past," Robby said.
I nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation, and drove off. When we arrived at the harbor, Robby instructed me to wait. "Stay here," he said before walking toward a nearby building. My instincts kicked in, sensing trouble, so I stealthily followed him inside.
Inside the building, I saw Robby talking to two older guys. "I'm out of the group. Just stay away from me," he asserted firmly.
One of the men sneered, "You think you can leave so easily? You know too much."
Robby got into a defensive stance, but he didn't notice an older guy approaching from behind with a wooden bat. Thankfully, I was ready. I rushed forward, grabbed the bat, and spun around, breaking it over the attacker's head and knocking him out cold.
One of the guys lunged for Robby, but he caught the man's arms and flipped him over his shoulder, slamming him into the ground. The last guy tried to punch Robby, but I intercepted, catching his arm and delivering a punch to his ribs. I heard a crunch as he fell unconscious. Robby then kicked the remaining guy in the head, and we quickly made our exit.
Confronting the Past
While driving back, I asked, "So, who were those guys?"
Robby sighed, clearly troubled. "In my old life, I wasn't the best person. I got involved with them; we would steal and threaten people. A few months ago, we planned to steal some cars from Mr. LaRusso. I joined the LaRusso Auto Group to learn the password to the door, but Mr. LaRusso became a father figure to me. I decided to stop the heist and confess. Those guys attacked me, but they got caught on a security camera and fled. Recently, I started receiving threats, and it was time to confront my past."
I nodded, understanding the weight of his words. "Want to grab some food? I'm treating."
He smiled, and we drove to a nearby McDonald's. We picked up food from the drive-thru and enjoyed our meal while chatting. Afterward, I dropped Robby off at his home. Just before he stepped inside, I said, "Robby, if you ever need anything or if someone hurts you, just call me. I'll be there."
"Will do, bro," he replied with a grateful smile before heading inside.
Training with Daniel, Sam, and Robby
The next day, Daniel was late for training, and we decided to spar. It turned into a free-for-all, but Robby and Sam were ganging up on me. Sam came in with a high kick, but I caught her leg, spun around, and threw her at Robby, who was approaching from behind. He caught her but had to take a couple of steps back to maintain his balance.
I charged forward and kicked Robby in the chest, causing them both to roll back. They quickly got up and attacked me together. Sam went for a double sky kick while Robby attempted to sweep my legs. I jumped over Robby and ducked under Sam in a drill-like motion.
Regaining my footing, I rushed forward and grabbed Robby's head, planting him into the ground. Just then, Sam charged at me, aiming a kick toward my chest. I didn't have enough time to evade, so I crossed my arms in front of me. She kicked me, and I rolled back, dissipating the kick's momentum.
I quickly got up, caught Sam's arm, and struck a pressure point, paralyzing it. I then turned and threw her over my shoulder, slamming her into the ground. I secured her in a painful handlock.
"Okay, you win," she gritted through clenched teeth, and I released her.
Robby came in to attack, but I deflected his arm and punched his solar plexus, making him fold in half. I spun around and delivered a roundhouse kick to his head, sending him to the side. I approached him and hit his pressure points, immobilizing his arms and legs.
He grunted, struggling to move. "You win. Now let me go," he said with an angry expression.
Just then, Daniel arrived at the training ground. I released Sam, and we both got back up.
"Gather up," Daniel instructed, and we all huddled close. "I have your official competition Miyagi-Do gis," he announced, opening a nearby bag to reveal three white gis adorned with a bonsai tree over an orange sun, along with three black belts.
He handed us the outfits, and we went to change. When we returned, we lined up, with me in the middle, Sam on my right, and Robby on my left. We paused for a moment, and I said, "We look sleek." The other two grinned, and Daniel smiled approvingly.
"Let's take some photos," he suggested. We snapped a bunch of pictures—some with Daniel and others just the three of us.
Afterward, we headed to Olive Garden, where we discussed strategies for the tournament. Before we finished our dinner, Daniel gave us the next three days to rest and replenish.
"Make sure you're ready," he added. "The All Valley Tournament is going to be intense."
As we left the restaurant, I felt a surge of excitement. We were prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead, united and ready to prove ourselves on the grand stage.
Here it comes. The All valley is going to take a bit because it's going to be longer than usual. Leave comments about possible fights and I may incorporate them into my story.
