In the hush of midnight's gentle embrace,
The moon ascends, a solitary face,
Her silvery glow, a beacon in the dark,
A whisper of solace, a tender spark.
She roams the heavens, silent and grand,
A sentinel in a boundless land,
No stars to confide, no planets to share,
Her path is her own, her journey laid bare.
Loneliness echoes in her pale light,
A symphony of silence, a mournful rite,
She watches the world with a wistful eye,
A timeless guardian of the night sky.
Yet in her solitude, a quiet grace,
A strength found in her celestial space,
For even alone, she shines so bright,
A testament to enduring light.
Oh, moon of night, so lonely, so fair,
Your lonesome beauty is beyond compare,
In your stillness, we find a mirrored soul,
A reminder that even in solitude, we are whole.
Eternal dawn, where time stands still,
A life unbound by fate's harsh will,
Immortality, a gift, a curse,
A tale of grandeur, both blessed and perverse.
In endless days, where years do blend,
A path with neither start nor end,
The world revolves, the seasons turn,
While in my heart, desires burn.
I watch as empires rise and fall,
A silent witness to it all,
Friends and lovers, come and go,
Their fleeting lives, a poignant show.
The stars may shift, the oceans sway,
But here I stand, night and day,
Untouched by age, immune to death,
Forever caught in life's sweet breath.
Yet in this never-ending flight,
A solitude as dark as night,
For immortality's lonely toll,
Is the aching void within the soul.
To live unbound by mortal thread,
Is to walk among the living dead,
For in the endless march of time,
We lose the rhythm, miss the rhyme.
Oh, fleeting life, so brief, so bright,
A spark against the endless night,
Perhaps in death, there's more to see,
Than immortality's eternity.
