Chương 4: First Day

First Day

Shido looked at the chaos in front of him, utterly shocked.

A guy with white hair was fighting both a girl with a sword and another girl in a mech suit who seemed to be... Origami?

His movements were unbelievably fast and powerful, almost inhuman.

"'What's going onl...?"

Shido muttered, his knees giving way beneath him as he collapsed to the ground.

The fight unfolding before his eyes felt almost surreal.

Both the girl with the sword and the Origami were formidable fighters, yet this white-haired guy was handling them simultaneously with a level of skill and power that defied belief.

"Get out of here!" Origami yelled, glancing at Shido for a split second before refocusing on her opponent.

Her eyes were full of determination, and her sword slashed through the air with precision and force.

The white hair summoned a bone, aiming to attack the Origami.

However, she dodged at the last second, and the bone flew straight toward Shido.

'What the...!!'

Just as the bone was about to hit him, Shido was suddenly teleported to a different place.

He found himself in a strange room filled with high-tech equipment.

"What... where am I?" Shido asked, looking around in confusion.

A voice crackled through the speakers. "You're safe for now. Just stay put and don't move."

Shido tried to make sense of what had just happened. "Who are you? What's going on out there?"

"We're monitoring the situation," the voice replied. "Just hang tight."

* * *

Its been a week since my battery with tohka and Origami.

It seemed like after I had teleported out of there Tohka had escaped, just like in the original light novel.

From my battle with Tohka and Origami, I learned several things.

First, my power of Sans is incredibly overpowered.

I was strong enough to take on both Tohka and Origami at the same time, while demonstrating a level of combat prowess that was astonishing.

Second, I get tired easily.

It's not a gradual exhaustion but rather a sudden wave of extreme fatigue that hits me all at once.

I need to figure out how to manage this better if I wanted to keep up my power.

The morning sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow across the room.

I stood in front of the mirror, taking in my reflection.

My white hair contrasted sharply with my blue eyes, a combination that always seemed to draw attention.

But what stood out the most was the school uniform I was wearing. I

It wasn't just any uniform; it was the uniform of Raizen High School.

"Raizen High School," I whispered to myself, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension.

This school was the school Shido went to and was the setting of "Date A Live,".

Today was my first day at this school, and the thought of what might happen filled me with anticipation.

I adjusted the collar of my uniform, making sure everything was in place.

The fabric felt strange but comforting, a symbol of the new life I was about to step into.

"This is going to be interesting," I thought, a small smile forming on my lips as I imagined the possibilities.

I grabbed my bag, making sure I had everything I needed for the day.

My heart was racing, a mix of nerves and excitement coursing through me.

As I stepped outside, the fresh morning air filled my lungs.

The city was already awake, with people bustling about, cars honking, and the distant sound of a train passing by.

The world felt alive, and I was ready to be a part of it.

I walked down the street with a sense of purpose, my steps quick and eager.

As I approached the school gates, my heart pounded even harder.

Students in the same uniform as mine were chatting and laughing, some glancing curiously at the new face among them.

I took a deep breath and stepped forward, ready to embrace whatever lay ahead.

"This is it," I thought, feeling a surge of determination.

With a final glance at the school's entrance, I made my way inside, filled with expectations and a sense of wonder.

* * *

Shido sat at his desk, idly tapping his pen against his notebook.

The classroom buzzed with the usual morning chatter, but today, there was an extra layer of excitement in the air.

Their homeroom teacher, Tamae Okamine, had mentioned that there would be a new student joining them today.

"Alright, everyone, settle down," Tamae-sensei called out, clapping her hands to get the students' attention.

"As I mentioned earlier, we have a new transfer student joining us. Please give him a warm welcome."

Shido straightened up in his seat, curious about who this new student might be.

The classroom door slid open, and in walked a boy with striking white hair and piercing blue eyes.

He was undeniably good-looking, and his presence commanded attention.

The new student smiled warmly at the class. "Hi, my name is Sans. Nice to meet you."

Shido's eyes widened in shock.

He recognized this boy immediately.

It was the same person he had seen in that chaotic battle—the one who fought both the spirit called Princess and Origami.

His mind raced, trying to process how this formidable fighter was now standing in front of him as a transfer student.

Shido instinctively turned to look at Origami, who sat a few seats away from him.

Her reaction was subtle but unmistakable.

Her usually stoic expression shifted ever so slightly, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinized Sans.

It was clear that she recognized him too.

Origami's eyes held a dangerous glint, her body tensing as if ready for a fight.

Shido knew that look; it was the look she got when she was preparing for battle, assessing whether someone was a threat.

Shido felt a mix of confusion and unease.

He had seen Sans's combat abilities firsthand, and now he was here, in their classroom.

Why was he here? What did he want?

As Sans walked to his seat, he glanced at Shido and grinned, a grin that sent a shiver up Shido's spine.

The bell rang, signaling the end of homeroom, but Shido's mind was still reeling.

When the class was dismissed, Shido quickly gathered his things and approached Origami.

"Did you see him?" he asked in a low voice, trying to keep their conversation private.

"It's him. The guy from the fight."

Origami nodded, her expression serious and her eyes never leaving Sans.

"I know. We need to be cautious. There's no telling what he's planning."

Shido nodded in agreement, his mind racing with questions.

Who was this Sans, really? And what did his presence mean for them?

Whatever it was, Shido knew it wasn't good.
