Damon's grin widened as he noticed Hunter's subtle glare, but he chose to ignore it for now. He released Delilah's hand, though his eyes lingered on her face, admiring her composed demeanor.

There was something intriguing about her, a mix of elegance and confidence that immediately caught his attention. He couldn't quite place why she seemed familiar, but it only added to her allure.

As they all sat down at the conference area in the office, Damon turned to Alex, "So, what's the occasion, Hunter?" Damon inquired, nodding towards the single red rose Alex was holding.

Alex's smile grew as he glanced at the flower. "Oh, this? It's for my beautiful sister, whom I was on my way to see. But, when I saw Delilah… I can call you that, right? I mean, after all the friendly advice you gave me, and considering that we are going to be one big happy family, we can be on first name basis, can't we?" He asked, causing Hunter to wonder what advice Delilah had given him.
