Ybur's whirlwind, carrying blades of ice, entrapped the elf within, but as the elf danced with her dual blades, colorful ink flying, amidst the clinking and clanking sounds of collision, the incoming ice blades were somehow all parried by her!
Inside, Ybur felt no impatience but was unusually calm.
It was perhaps due to the Ice Element's influence that after activating "Fury of the Flamebody," it had fallen into a state of "chilly frenzy," not the least bit clouded by rage.
It wasn't that simple.
The Self Totem had three phases, each more profound than the last.
The First Rank allowed it to unlock the ability to manipulate elements even in the throes of frenzy. This sensation was extraordinary, as it now wielded the elements not so much with its mind as with its "muscles." The elemental power, through the totem, was tightly intertwined with its spirit and body, as natural and fluid as moving one's own limbs.
And now, it had initiated the Second Rank.
