"Kiti, if you wanted to join the party, you could've just asked," Luna teased.
Kiti narrowed her sharp, blue-slanted eyes while standing strong with her palm on the hilt of her katana. "Not a party," she mumbled. "A war. And it's arriving faster than you think."
Fanfar, lounging casually against a nearby pillar, raised an eyebrow as he clasped his hands behind his head. "What war are you talking about?" he asked, his tone curious but tinged with skepticism. "I don't know you. Or... do I?" He leaned slightly forward, studying her intently.
"The energy I sense in you is hostile," Kiti said, clutching her blade firmly. Her eyes darted over the odd, luminous area outside. "Where exactly are we?" she inquired, a tinge of uneasiness creeping into her composed manner.
Luna stepped forward, her hands gesturing softly as if to soothe the tension. "We're in the dream dimension," she explained.
"So Fanfar drew you here as well," Kiti replied, skeptically.
