Gohan Faces Supreme Kai
"Supreme Kai, I kept my word. I only destroyed three mountain ranges."
Supreme Kai was relieved. The damage was much smaller than expected. Thank God, it was really the blessing of the ancestors. But Supreme Kai's smile was still a little forced.
"Mr. Gohan, here." He handed over some of Gohan's capsules.
"Thank you," Gohan said as he took the capsule.
Looking at the disheveled Goku, Kibito decided to help him change into new clothes, though he was unwilling to treat his injuries. He raised his hand, and the tattered orange martial arts uniform on Goku immediately became brand new.
"What magical power," Goku said, amazed.
Gohan smiled and said to Supreme Kai, "Lord Supreme Kai, can you teach me how to open up an extra-dimensional space to store things? You see, it is very inconvenient for me to put things away now. When fighting, I am always afraid that the capsule I carry with me will break."
"This..." Supreme Kai hesitated for a few seconds before continuing, "It's not impossible, but this involves some magical knowledge. I wonder if Mr. Gohan has the talent for this."
"Hey, you have to learn to know if you have talent," Gohan said indifferently.
"OK, I will find time to explain to Mr. Gohan how to open up another dimension," Supreme Kai finally nodded and agreed.
"Hahaha, that's great."
Dende came over and said, "Gohan, long time no see."
"Yes, Dende, how are you doing here?" Gohan put his arm around Dende's shoulders and asked.
Dende let Gohan put his arm around his shoulders without any discomfort. "Old Kai has taught me a lot and developed my potential. I will be able to upgrade the Dragon Balls soon."
"Wow, that's great," Gohan laughed.
Gohan then took out a capsule, pressed a button, and BOOM—it transformed into a huge take-out box.
"Ah, do you want to eat?" Goku, who was weak just now, immediately perked up.
"Yes, let's eat, but Dad, you should eat less. You've already eaten two packages by yourself," Gohan said helplessly.
"Well, I haven't eaten enough yet," Goku felt a little aggrieved.
"You are already dead now, so you don't have to eat," Gohan pointed to the halo above Goku's head.
"I don't want it, that's so boring," Goku shook his head repeatedly to refuse.
Gohan ignored him and turned to look at Supreme Kai and Kibito, complaining, "Do you two have any sense? Make a big table and chairs, really."
"Oh, oh."
"Right, right, right."
The two raised their hands. One conjured up a large table, and the other conjured up six chairs.
"Gohan is so strict now," Goku couldn't help but say. He hurried over to help, putting the packed lunch boxes on the table one by one.
Dende also helped, and the three of them soon filled the huge table with delicious food.
"Hey, grandpa, stop reading magazines and come to the table."
"Hey, you bastard!"
Several people sat around the table, their appetites aroused by the delicious food. But Dende was not interested at all. He didn't need to eat food; he just needed to drink water and photosynthesize.
Gohan took out two bottles of special drinks and handed them to Dende. "Dende, try this, I guarantee it's a taste you've never had before."
"Thank you," Dende took the drink with some emotion. It was a great feeling to be valued. This is probably what good friends are like, Dende thought secretly in his heart and felt that Gohan was really great.
While eating, Gohan asked Supreme Kai, "Lord Supreme Kai, can you help me find someone on Earth? He has hidden his energy, and I can't find him. You should be able to do it, right?"
"Of course I can," Supreme Kai nodded.
But the old Kai interrupted him, "Just let Dende find him. He is the Kami of the Earth, and it is easy for him to find someone. It would be a waste of your talent, Supreme Kai, to find someone."
"Ah, that's right, I didn't think it through," Gohan said.
"Then when Dende returns to Earth, Dende will help."
"Yeah, no problem," Dende nodded in agreement.
Goku, stuffing his mouth full, asked curiously, "Who are you looking for?"
"Master Roshi," Gohan replied. "The fortune-teller Baba said that he, Puar, and Oolong were hiding in a submarine in the East Sea, but I couldn't find it. Master Roshi must have hidden his Ki."
"Oh, haha." Goku stuffed another whole duck leg into his mouth.
The battle for food ended half an hour later. The winners were Goku and Gohan. Looking at the messy battlefield, Supreme Kai raised his hand and swept away all the garbage and chairs.
The father and son sat on the grass to rest, patting their bulging bellies and sighing at the beauty of life and food. Not long after, Supreme Kai came over and said he would teach Gohan to open up another dimension. Goku, bored, sat aside and listened.
Supreme Kai sat cross-legged opposite them and began discussing magic knowledge. "When it comes to opening up a different dimension, we have to start with the most basic magic knowledge, and what we are going to talk about is the basic magic knowledge of space. Only by learning a little space magic can you open up another dimension."
"First..."
Goku was almost drowsy listening to the talk nearby. He had no idea what Supreme Kai was talking about. It just sounded so difficult and confusing. He didn't understand it at all. Gohan, on the other hand, listened with great interest. He felt that the magic knowledge Supreme Kai talked about was a bit like the knowledge of the structure of spirit that Elder Pybara of the planet Yardrat talked about. Could it be that all things have the same origin and will eventually end up in the same place?
However, Gohan forgot that his body was a fusion of two souls. Whether it was his mental power, soul power, or comprehension, it was incomparable to before. It was normal for him to understand the magic knowledge Supreme Kai explained.
Half a day passed quickly. Supreme Kai finally finished talking about the basic knowledge of magic. Gohan frowned and thought about the key knowledge points for a few minutes. Then he stood up and instantly entered a mysterious state. He punched the air with all his strength.
"Crack!"
The void suddenly cracked open. Gohan's fist hit an unknown space.
"This..." The onlookers were all stunned.
Gohan didn't take it seriously. He squatted down and carefully observed the dark crack, wondering where it led to. But the crack closed quickly. It was just that Gohan had a better understanding of the so-called other-dimensional space.
