Chapter 73
Eugene's POV
The news of the burnt warehouse blazed through the winter city like a storm that night. We had managed to slip through the underground basement where we had our car parked in the underground garage.
The van in the front of the warehouse was just a diversion to keep the police busy but without clues.
But admit the news going about in every media house and television station that night, came the news we weren't expecting–the possibility that Luciana had survived the inferno.
"What!" My exclamation shattered the silence in the room as I listened to the reporter speculate about Luciana's survival.
I was careful to make sure Audrey wasn't anywhere around.
"This can't be!"
There was no way Luciana could have survived the burn fire. We made sure she doesn't get the chance to break free, ensuring that she was properly tied up.
