"Doctor!"

"Hm? Emilia? And… Instructor Wells? What is—"

"Please tend to him!"

And as most places in the Cultivator Academy, the clinic also boasted a large area — perhaps unusually large. But of course, if one were to take into consideration that a lot of people are sure to get injured in a so-called combat-oriented school, then a large clinic akin to a hospital ward was already a given.

And as soon as Emilia and the instructor, Wells, barged into the clinic while carrying Lucian; all the staff who were just idling by and checking the other injured students quickly rushed to see what the commotion was about.

"Place him on the bed, gently!"

Wells did as the doctor said as he placed Lucian on the bed; the doctor, opened the curtain so that his disciples could assist him.

"What happened here, Emilia?" The doctor asked.

"That… Dr. Raj, he got injured while having a duel with the instructor!" Emilia quickly answered as she wanted to check on Lucian, only for the disciples to push her away as they assessed his injuries, "He… he got slammed on the wall hard!"

"...You went overboard again, Instructor Wells?" Dr. Raj could really only let out a small groan as he looked at the now timid Instructor Wells, "Who even is this? A new instructor?"

"He is a new student," Wells answered.

"You injured a student!?" The doctor's eyes started to light up—no. It almost looked like there were flames being lit up inside them, "What were you thinking!? And this… this man's only at the Spirit Infant rank! What… are you insane!?"

"I got a little excited."

"Against a Spirit Infant!? You're a Spirit Master, Wells! Oh… ugh… my cultivation is fluctuation," Dr. Raj pressed the back of his neck, "I… I think I'm going to go into Lith deviation due to my high blood pressure."

"D…Doctor!" One of Dr. Raj's disciples approached him.

"What!?"

"The… patient doesn't have any wounds, internal or external."

"What…?"

"What?" Not only the doctor, but Emilia and Instructor Wells could not help but react and look at the medical disciple like he was crazy.

"What… do you mean…?" Emilia blinked a couple of times as she was finally able to approach Lucian, "He… was slammed on the wall by the instructor."

"Let me check," Dr. Raj quickly checked on Lucian too, placing his hand on his chest with his eyes closed, "This… aside from the almost non-existent amount of lith inside him, he's incredibly healthy. Is… this some sort of prank? Did Tina from HR told you to do this?"

"Interesting," Instructor Wells placed his hand on his chin as he approached Lucian, "I felt his bones cracking and snapping while I was carrying him. Are you saying that he might have healed already?"

"Ah!" And all of a sudden, Emilia raised her voice along with her finger, causing Dr. Raj to almost jump in place.

"What is wrong with you, woman!?" Dr. Raj once again clasped the back of his neck as his disciples helped to straighten him up, "Why are you shouting in my clinic!?"

"He…" Emilia then turned to look at Lucian's face, extremely exhausted even though he was already knocked out and sleeping, "...Could it be because of his Unique Physique?"

"Unique… physique?" Both Dr. Raj and Instructor Wells turned to look at Emilia.

"Yes…" Emilia nodded, "...I was there when he registered as a Cultivator a couple of weeks ago — he beat a Blood Tiger in a single move."

"Interesting…" Instructor Wells licked his lips as he stared at Lucian, he was about to hold his face, but Dr. Raj quickly slapped his hand away.

"You fucking pervert! Someone get Instructor Wells out of here, now!"

"I merely wanted to touch… his unique physique," Instructor Wells said monotonously.

"Why are you gay?" Dr. Raj waved his hand several times, "Go, shoo! Shoo!"

"Hm," Instructor Wells just nodded his head before walking away without any more words. The medical disciples, however, all saw a smile crawling on his face; causing a chill to run down their spine — they had heard of Instructor Wells and his peculiar bipolar personality…

…but they did not think at all that it was real until now.

"And all of you, return to your stations. There is nothing else to see here! And someone get Emilia a chair!" Dr. Raj then waved his disciples away before turning his focus to Emilia, "You seem to know this man, so you stay here and watch him in case he wakes up and has lots of questions."

"O… okay," Emilia nodded as she sat on the chair one of the medical disciples got for her.

"But still — a Unique Physique…" Dr. Raj stared at Lucian, "...Are you telling me that he was able to fight against Instructor Wells?"

"N…no. Well, when he limited his lith to Spirit Infant…" Emilia breathed out, "...I, I would even say that the instructor was not a match for him at all."

"And so he got excited and forgot he was a Spirit Master?" Dr. Raj sighed, "I need to report this."

"Wait, please don't…" Emilia shook her head, "...I'll personally tell it to Father."

"...Very well," Dr. Raj stared at Emilia for a few seconds before just walking away, "Call me immediately as soon as the patient wakes up. What's his name?"

"Lucian Zhang."

"Huh… sounds familiar," Dr. Raj shrugged before just leaving Emilia alone with Lucian.

"Mr. Lucian…" Emilia then let out a small but very deep breath as she looked at Lucian's face, "...You really are full of surprises. I knew I wasn't mistaken when I saw you. You—"

And before Emilia could finish her words, Lucian's eyes just suddenly opened up.

"Ah!" Emilia gasped in shock, but she quickly stood up to call for the doctor. But before she could do so, she felt a tight grip on her arm, "Mr… Mr. Lucian?"

Emilia quickly looked back, only to see Lucian holding her wrist, "What are you—Kh!"

Emilia then gritted her teeth as Lucian just suddenly pulled her closer, almost bringing her to the bed. She tried to pull her hand away, but she could not even budge Lucian's hand at all as he just leaned closer and closer to her,

"What… what are you doing, Mr. Lucian…?"

"You…

…You smell very nice."
