Chương 15: Chapter 14: Sokka vs Fire Nation
Sokka lowered his head, then looked beneath the clouds. He realized that Zuko's ship was still following her a few miles away.
'That guy is very persistent, it doesn't help that there are no clouds in this area' Sokka thought, sighing with resignation.
He had to go back to Aang and his sister on Kyoshi Island, they needed to get to the North Pole as soon as possible. "Although now that I think about it..."
"It would have been nice for Aang to come, so I could have hidden Appa under some clouds using his airbending." Sokka patted his face.
He could have known better, but oh well. Sokka settled down and continued flying, he just needed some clouds to turn around.
"When are they planning to land?!" Zuko demanded looking at the bison in the skies.
"Patience Zuko, be patient and life will reward you" Uncle Iroh was sipping a cup of tea sitting next to him.
"I've already waited for three long years, I won't wait any longer!" exclaimed the fire nation prince turning around.
"And what are you planning to do? We don't know how to fly haha" General Iroh stroked his chin.
"Prepare your weapons, and at my signal attack," Zuko ordered one of his soldiers, who nodded.
There was a rock filled with black oil on a platform. A soldier threw a burst of fire that set that rock on fire.
"Now!" Zuko shouted, lowering his arm.
Then the soldier cut a rope and the rock rose quickly towards where Appa was flying.
"Shit," Sokka muttered, tightening Appa's reins and the bison changed direction, avoiding being hit by the rock.
However, from below they were preparing another one, ready to launch it. "Sorry Appa, you'll have to prepare to dodge."
Sokka made the bison turn around, and just then the rock passed within a few centimeters of them. "Alright, time for the counterattack."
Now, Appa was flying towards the prince's ship, who was in disbelief at what was happening, "Quick, prepare another rock!"
While they were still preparing the rock, Appa landed on the ship. Then, he used his tail to create a large surge of air that expelled everyone on the ship.
And in the other boat, they were preparing a rock. Sokka noticed this, and climbed back onto the flying bison.
The soldiers shot the rock and it fell directly into the ship, making a hole in the center that caused the ship to begin to fill with water and then sink.
Appa landed on the other ship and did the same with its tail, and all the soldiers shot into the water.
"If you don't mind Prince Zuko, I'll take his ship," Sokka commented with a mocking smile.
Then, after getting on Appa, he put the ship in his inventory and left the place, leaving the Fire Nation soldiers, Prince Zuko, and his uncle in the water.
"H-How?" Zuko was speechless.
"Mmm, what are we going to do now?" Iroh asked with his usual calmness and Zuko buried his head in the water so as not to hear his uncle.

Meanwhile, about a day had passed and Sokka still had not returned to the island. Katara was worried.
"Do you think they caught him?" The girl asked, looking at the avatar, who looked up at the sky.
"I highly doubt it, Sokka is intelligent and they are also in the air, it would be impossible" Aang answered with a small smile.
"It's true" Katara smiled weakly, she also shared that hunch.
"Speaking of Sokka" Suki approached them looking at the sky, and there was a large silhouette approaching.
After a few moments, they realized that it was Sokka aboard Appa, which landed shortly after. Then, everyone came closer.
"Sokka!" Katara hugged her brother tightly, who closed his eyes with a smile.
"What's wrong, did you miss me?" the boy asked, smiling, "Yes, it only took me a while."
"It took you too long, did the Fire Nation attack you?" Suki wanted to know.
"Yes, but as expected I beat them" Sokka replied proudly and Suki rolled her eyes at her, crossing her arms.
"Let me see your arm," Katara took his left hand, seeing the burn that extended to his bicep, "That guy..."
"It's really nothing," Sokka turned to Aang, "Well boy, it's time to go to the spirit world."
