A long silence followed.
Yugito Nii patted Mabui and Samui, waking them up.
She felt it necessary to talk to them while Shishou was away.
"Hmm, Yugito... you're here," Mabui rubbed her eyes, glanced at Yugito, and then turned over to sleep again.
Next to Mabui, Samui had also been woken up by Yugito and was staring at her in a daze.
Clearly, her brain hadn't started functioning yet.
Suddenly, Mabui and Samui sat up simultaneously, looking at Yugito in astonishment.
"How are you here!!!"
"The barrier on Turtle Island should have been closed..."
Halfway through speaking, both were startled as they simultaneously remembered that Shishou had the Flying Thunder God technique.
Thinking of Shishou.
Then, noticing their disheveled state, Mabui and Samui froze.
They wondered if Shishou had...
Thinking of this, Samui looked at Yugito in a daze and said, "You better tell me you came alone..."
Mabui also looked at Yugito nervously, clearly sharing Samui's thoughts.
Seeing their expressions, Yugito rolled her eyes and said, "You said the barrier on Turtle Island was closed."
"Do you think I could come in alone?"
Hearing this, Mabui and Samui looked dejected and held their heads.
"It's over!"
"This is so embarrassing."
Seeing her two friends' reactions, Yugito rolled her eyes, "Hurry up and get ready, we need to start training soon."
"Got it, got it."
Mabui and Samui mumbled, getting up to dress.
"Drank too much last night, my head hurts a bit."
After washing up, Mabui knocked on her head as she returned to the room and lay down on the sofa.
Samui also held her head, sitting beside her, and said, "It's a good thing we drank the high-quality sake that Shishou bought, or it would be more than just a little headache."
In the ninja world, the higher the quality of the sake, the less severe the headache the next day.
"Yeah, those drinks are not cheap. We should buy something to repay him. What do you think we should get?" Mabui continued to knock on her head, looking at Samui.
Although they were very close with Shishou and drinking his sake wasn't a big deal, they felt they needed to show their appreciation.
Just give yourselves to him; he would be very happy.
Yugito silently retorted in her mind and then asked seriously, "What did Lord Raikage tell you?"
Although she had her suspicions, Yugito wanted to confirm them to avoid any misunderstanding.
Mabui and Samui froze, clearly not expecting Yugito to ask about this.
Then, Mabui forced a calm expression and explained, "Lord Raikage only asked us some questions about Shishou."
"He wants us to treat Shishou well and not neglect him."
Yugito squinted at her two friends and slowly said, "Really?"
"Of course!" Mabui and Samui nodded vigorously.
Seeing their response, Yugito sighed, "I've already asked. Are you sure you want to keep hiding it?"
Seeing their reaction, Yugito knew her suspicions were likely correct.
Having grown up together, if it was as they said, they wouldn't bother reaffirming it; they'd just give her a look and stop talking.
Hearing Yugito's words, Mabui and Samui were startled, thinking she was angry about the matter.
Quickly, they knelt in front of Yugito, anxiously explaining, "It was just Lord Raikage's arrangement, we didn't agree."
"We have no intention of competing with you for Shishou."
"If you don't believe us, we'll return to the Hidden Cloud Village right now and never appear before Shishou again."
Though they admired Shishou's abilities and imagined what it would be like to be by his side, their long-standing friendship with Yugito mattered more.
If Yugito was upset, they wouldn't see Shishou again.
Seeing their anxious expressions, Yugito sighed.
She understood Lord Raikage's motives after being reminded by Matatabi.
Faced with an uncontrollable and powerful individual like Shishou, without means of counteraction, drawing him in was the best choice.
Though Yugito knew Shishou was a pacifist who wouldn't harm the Hidden Cloud Village, she hadn't forgotten her identity and position.
Deepening Shishou's ties with the Hidden Cloud Village, making him a part of it, was a beneficial move.
It allowed her to stay by Shishou's side without conflict and provided the village with a powerful ally.
However, she knew she couldn't bind Shishou to the village alone.
So, she needed a couple of helpers to strengthen the ties between Shishou and the Hidden Cloud Village.
Mabui and Samui, who could pique Shishou's interest, were the best choices.
Even though Shishou had a bunch of pictures of young women, Yugito knew his taste was discerning, and ordinary beauties wouldn't catch his eye.
Seeing Yugito's silence, Mabui and Samui grew nervous.
Just as they were about to leave Turtle Island, Yugito grabbed their hands and smiled, "What do you think of Shishou?"
What do they think of Shishou?
Mabui and Samui were stunned, doubting their ears.
Why wasn't Yugito reacting normally?
Shouldn't she be angry and furious when her friends covet her man?
Could it be that Yugito wasn't upset about this?
Seeing their confusion, Yugito smiled.
"I'm also from the Hidden Cloud Village and can guess Lord Raikage's intentions."
"And I also hope Shishou's ties with the village can deepen, avoiding future dilemmas."
"Moreover, I guess you didn't refuse because you want to stay by Shishou's side and improve your abilities, not be left behind."
"You are my close friends, and I don't want too much of a gap between us."
"This matter benefits the village, you, and me."
"So, why would I stop you?"

Mabui and Samui exchanged glances, not knowing what to say for a moment.
They obviously didn't expect Yugito to be so understanding.
Then, Samui tentatively asked, "Yugito, do you really not mind?"
"At first, I did mind a lot," Yugito smiled, looking at the puzzled Mabui and Samui, and continued, "But then I thought, I don't mind all the women around Shishou."
"So why should I mind my two close friends?"
Mabui scoffed, "You talk as if we would definitely be interested in Shishou."
Yugito shrugged indifferently, "I've said my piece. What you do is up to you."
"Anyway, from my perspective, there's no way you can escape Shishou's grasp."
"But for the next month, you two better not disturb me and Shishou."
At the end, Yugito looked at the two and reminded them.
No matter what, for this month, Shishou was hers alone!
Hearing this, Samui breathed a sigh of relief. Although she didn't know if she and Shishou would end up together, as long as Yugito didn't mind, she felt much better.
Then, she looked at Yugito and smiled, "Got it."
"Honeymoon period, I understand."
"Hmph!" Yugito snorted and walked out the door.
"Let's go too," Mabui said to Samui with a smile.
Now that everything was out in the open and Yugito didn't mind them being around Shishou.
What they needed to do next was clear.
They would get to know Shishou, spend time with him, and if they felt something for each other, being together would be natural.
If not, then it just wasn't meant to be.
Clattering!
Opening the wooden door, the three of them walked out just in time to see Shishou, who had just used the Body Flicker Technique to return with a bunch of breakfasts.
"Time for breakfast."
"Each of you gets a bowl of Water Country's specialty seafood ramen."
Seeing Yugito, Mabui, and Samui come out, Shishou greeted them with a smile.
Because he had gone to both the Fire Country to buy breakfast buns and the Water Country for specialty seafood ramen, he returned a bit late.
"Hmph!"
"You're so lucky, you big jerk!"
Yugito glared at Shishou, grabbed a bowl of ramen from his hand, and walked downstairs.
"I didn't mean to," Shishou thought Yugito was referring to him feasting his eyes this morning, and he smiled awkwardly.
Although it wasn't intentional, staring at the two of them was indeed a bit rude.
Of course, apology or not, if it happened again, he would definitely look!
Hearing Yugito's words, Mabui blushed, knowing she was referring to her and Samui possibly being with Shishou in the future.
Coming up to Shishou, Mabui blushed and bowed, nervously taking a bowl of ramen from his hand, and said, "Shishou, please take care of us from now on."
After saying that, Mabui quickly ran after Yugito.
Though she was very mature and composed in handling matters, when it came to feelings, she was quite shy, especially thinking about the three of them together.
Seeing Mabui's actions and hearing her words, Shishou was stunned, completely bewildered.
What?
After just one look, were they planning to latch onto him now?
Seeing Shishou's puzzled expression, Samui, the last to leave, chuckled softly. She took a bowl of ramen from his hand, smiled, and followed Yugito and Mabui.
Since Yugito had said not to disturb her and Shishou this month, Samui didn't bother explaining anything to Shishou.
"What are these three up to?" Shishou muttered, following with the remaining buns and ramen.
No matter what, having three unique beauties to share a meal with was always a good thing.
After eating the ramen together.
Shishou began to summon Katsuyu to start teaching Yugito, Mabui, and Samui the basics of Sage Mode.
He then went to the True Waterfall to practice meditation under the guidance of the small Katsuyu.
Though he planned to have Tsunade, Yugito, and others learn Sage Mode to provide him with Sage Chakra.
Shishou certainly couldn't rely solely on them. He needed to master Sage Mode himself to fully activate it.
This would allow him to seal the Ryuchi Cave, kill the White Snake, and take control of the cave.
After killing the White Snake, he would head to Mount Myoboku to kill the Great Toad Sage and take control of the Sage techniques there.
By then, the Sage techniques and territories of the three great Sage regions would be in his hands.
With three different Sage training methods, he could train all his women to become Sages, preparing to fight the Otsutsuki clan.
Even in the late stages, Naruto, in his thirties, had to deepen his Sage training to face the Otsutsuki.
Of course, these plans were for much later, over twenty years from now.
By then, Shishou believed he would have at least ten Six Paths level fighters by his side.
As long as the Otsutsuki didn't team up, he could easily defeat them one by one.
Then, he would either strengthen himself further or add another Six Paths level fighter to his side.
Time passed quickly.
During the day, he trained Sage Mode with Yugito, Mabui, and Samui.
At night, he trained with Yugito alone.
Occasionally, he visited Konoha, Kirigakure, Honoha Castle, the Land of Demons, the Land of Iron, and other places to see his other wives.
In this way, a month quickly passed.
"When will you come to the Hidden Cloud Village next time?" Yugito hugged Shishou tightly, reluctantly asking.
The month was up, and Shishou had to leave the Hidden Cloud Village today.
Although Shishou could come to the Hidden Cloud Village anytime, Yugito knew he had many responsibilities and couldn't always be with her like this month. That was the main reason for her reluctance.
Beside Yugito, Mabui and Samui also looked at Shishou with complex expressions.
During this month, their abilities had improved dramatically with Shishou's help, greatly increasing their fondness for him.
"It won't be long, and didn't I have you sign the summoning contract with Katsuyu?"
"Whenever you miss me, just have her tell me, and I'll come right away."
Gently holding Yugito, Shishou softly reassured her.
To ensure Tsunade could still summon Katsuyu, he had lifted the restriction on Katsuyu's movement between realms and had Yugito, Mabui, and Samui sign the summoning contract. This allowed Katsuyu's clones to teach them Sage Mode and kept communication easy.
This way, if any trouble arose, he could quickly come to eliminate any threats.
