Noon.
From returning to Kirigakure, Shishou walked into his room and yawned.
"Tsk, my chakra has already reached 800 kC and is still increasing," Shishou noted with admiration. "As expected, the remains of Uchiha Madara, who awakened the Rinnegan, are different. Just one has given me such a terrifying boost."
After observing his chakra, Shishou took a bath, then went to the basement of his house, taking out the white jade bottle that sealed the Yin half of Kurama.
He pulled the cork, touched the bottle's opening, and infused his power into it. In the next moment, his consciousness entered a closed prison.
"Yo, Yin Kurama, still sleeping?" Shishou greeted the fox, standing outside the cage formed by sealing techniques.
Yin Kurama opened one eye, glanced at Shishou, and then closed it again, clearly uninterested in him.
Having spent years with Minato Namikaze in the Shinigami's stomach, Yin Kurama no longer harbored hatred for humans, just finding them annoying.
Tsk, Yin Kurama's reaction is different...
Shishou didn't feel the same malevolent chakra from Yin Kurama that he sensed from Yang Kurama.
Has it been tamed by the little sunshine?
Thinking of the golden body mode Minato displayed during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Shishou mused.
"Yin Kurama, don't you want to come out? I can let you out," Shishou offered repeatedly, but Yin Kurama turned its back on him.
Oh, playing hard to get, huh!
Tsk, it seems convincing Yin Kurama to cooperate won't work.
Seeing Yin Kurama's indifferent attitude, Shishou felt a bit helpless.
He had hoped to transform Yin Kurama into the form of Soul Lotus Ahri.
If the soft approach doesn't work, then I'll have to use force.
With that thought, Shishou glared at Yin Kurama and threatened, "Hey, Yin Kurama. If you keep ignoring me, I'll have to teach you a lesson!"
Yin Kurama opened one eye, looked at Shishou with disdain, and sneered, "How do you plan to teach me a lesson?"
As the most powerful Tailed Beast... or at least half of it, it didn't fear anyone.
Shishou smirked and activated his Mangekyo Sharingan.
Sharingan Genjutsu!
Yin Kurama saw the Mangekyo Sharingan in Shishou's eyes and was momentarily stunned.
The next moment, Yin Kurama found its surroundings drastically changed.
"Where is this?" Yin Kurama frowned at the black and white environment.
"This is just an illusion I created for you."
A giant appeared at Kurama's feet, gently picking it up and smiling at it.
After devouring Madara's remains, Shishou's pupil power and Sharingan genjutsu abilities had increased rapidly, allowing him to create an illusion space similar to Tsukuyomi.
Of course, it was only similar; he couldn't manipulate time in the illusion. However, he could control the space and objects within it.
Just like now, he could shrink Kurama.
"Kurama, you've always relied on your strength to do as you please. Now, I'll let you experience the pain of being weak," Shishou said, rolling Yin Kurama into a ball like a soccer ball, transforming the surroundings into a World Cup soccer field.
The referee, both teams' players, and the audience appeared.
At the sound of the whistle, Shishou tossed Kurama into the air and kicked it straight into the goal.
In this life, Shishou's parents had died during Kurama's rampage in Konoha. Now, he was just collecting a little interest.
"Hey, let's talk this out," Kurama shouted, finding itself helpless, unable to control its body or use its power, just getting kicked around.
Shishou ignored Kurama, raising his arms and shouting, "The first Nine-Tails Ball Cup is officially starting!"
Kurama panicked, "Wait, I'll do whatever you say..."
"Roar!!!"
Kurama's cries were drowned out by the cheers of the audience as it was kicked into the air.
...
Two hours later.
"Do you submit?" Shishou asked, holding Kurama in ball form, smiling.
"I submit," Kurama nodded hurriedly, no longer showing its previous arrogance.
"Will you behave in the future?" Shishou asked, satisfied.
"I will, definitely," Kurama nodded repeatedly.
Shishou had scared it out of its wits; Kurama realized it couldn't resist and had been kicked around for over two hours...
"Now, transform into this!"
"Even your voice should change to this."
Shishou conjured an image of Soul Lotus Ahri in his left hand and played a recording of Ahri's voice, smiling at Kurama.
Kurama's mouth twitched and with a puff, transformed into Soul Lotus Ahri.
"Not bad, not bad."
Shishou praised the transformed Kurama, now looking like Soul Lotus Ahri.
"You must keep this form from now on, or I'll be rude to you," Shishou threatened, his tone serious.
"Yes, yes," Kurama, using Ahri's voice, nodded, looking pitiful.
Under the eaves, one must bow. Kurama resigned itself.
"That's all for today," Shishou said, ending the genjutsu and withdrawing his consciousness from the sealing bottle.
He carefully stored the sealing bottle and left the basement, satisfied.
Subduing Kurama was part of his preparation for the future battles.
Although Shishou didn't think he'd need Kurama's chakra, it was always good to be prepared.
Leaving a shadow clone behind, Shishou disappeared from his basement.
Kumogakure, near the Valley of Clouds and Lightning, Turtle Island.
Shishou appeared on the giant turtle's head and started negotiating a summoning contract with it.
After a round of friendly (intimidation), mutual benefit (bribery), and demonstrating his power (threats), the giant turtle reluctantly agreed to sign a summoning contract with Shishou.
Having done this, Shishou left and walked towards the interior of Turtle Island.
On Turtle Island, there was a real waterfall where one could see their inner demons. Shishou wanted to see what his inner demon was.
And by the way, see if Matatabi's jinchuuriki, Yugito Nii, was still on the island.
If she was, Shishou intended to borrow some of Matatabi's chakra for his future plans of reaching the Six Paths level.
"You, what are you doing here? Yugito-sama and Killer Bee-sama are not on this island," said Motoi, a middle-ranking ninja guarding Turtle Island, blocking Shishou's path with a terrified expression.
Shishou paused and smiled brightly, "Oh, Killer Bee is here too? That's great."
"Ah, so Killer Bee is also here. That's great," Shishou said with a bright smile, causing Motoi to panic, unable to understand how Shishou knew this information.
Could he have mind-reading abilities? Motoi thought in terror.
Seeing Motoi's expression, Shishou felt a bit speechless, thinking, "You're practically giving it away."
Casually knocking Motoi out, Shishou walked towards the Falls of Truth.
He remembered that there was a cave behind the waterfall where Yugito Nii should be training.
At the Falls of Truth, Yugito Nii sat in meditation in front of the waterfall, under the watchful eyes of Killer Bee and other Jonin from Kumogakure.
Looking at the waterfall, Yugito once again saw the hateful figure within it, making her clench her fists, barely resisting the urge to rush up and teach him a lesson.
"Miss Yugito, are you here to see me again?" The phantom of Shishou in the waterfall smiled at her.
Yugito pursed her lips without speaking; this was her inner demon.
Ever since being tied up and disciplined by Shishou, her inner demon had taken his form, leaving her feeling helpless.
While others' inner demons were typically their dark sides, hers was that annoying man who had humiliated her...
"Miss Yugito, you know you can't defeat me unless you conquer my real self," the phantom Shishou said with a bright smile. "Why do you keep coming to see me then? And why do you dream about that scene every night?"
"Could it be..."
The phantom's words struck a nerve in Yugito, making her blush and her lips tremble.
Perhaps the mental trauma from last time was too great, causing her to relive the experience of being disciplined by Shishou every night in her dreams.
Remembering the fear, humiliation, and strange sensations from that time made Yugito's body tremble slightly.
"I didn't even finish speaking, and you're already denying it. It seems you know what I was going to say," the phantom Shishou laughed.
"Don't talk nonsense..." Yugito's face turned redder, her voice becoming smaller.
Inside Yugito, Matatabi, the Two-Tails, sighed helplessly.
Yugito's training at the Falls of Truth was supposed to eliminate her inner demon, but it seemed to be growing instead.
Over the past few months, Matatabi had watched as Yugito's obsession with Shishou intensified.
Nearby, Killer Bee watched the blushing Yugito, completely baffled.
Talking to one's dark side and getting embarrassed was something he had never seen before.
This month alone, Yugito had found herself in this situation ten times.
"It seems Yugito has failed again," Killer Bee sighed, shaking his head.
The other Jonin from Kumogakure nodded in agreement.
"Bee, that person is back, behind you!"
Suddenly, the Eight-Tails warned Killer Bee.
Turning around, Killer Bee saw Shishou, the Flying Thunder God user.
"Baka yarou, konoyarou, what are you doing here again?" Killer Bee quickly assumed a defensive stance, staring at Shishou warily.
The other Jonin, surprised, turned to look at Shishou, wondering how he had arrived unnoticed.
"What is Miss Yugito doing?" Shishou asked, curious, looking at the blushing Yugito in front of the waterfall.
Shishou knew the waterfall revealed one's inner darkness, but Yugito's behavior seemed odd.
"Baka yarou, konoyarou, you still haven't answered my question," Killer Bee frowned, strategizing his next move.
While Killer Bee felt he could protect himself, he worried about the other Kumogakure ninjas.
"I'm not here to cause trouble. I just want to borrow some of your and Yugito's tailed beast chakra," Shishou said, trying to appear friendly.
"Borrow some tailed beast chakra?"
"Can tailed beast chakra just be lent like that?"
The Jonin next to Killer Bee was furious, assuming Shishou aimed to capture the tailed beasts, and began forming hand seals to attack.
Shishou's eyes narrowed, and his Sharingan spun as he cast a glance at Killer Bee and the nearby ninjas.
"Bee, watch out!"
"It's the Mangekyo Sharingan!"
The Eight-Tails snapped Killer Bee out of the genjutsu, and Killer Bee quickly jumped out of Shishou's range.
Thud! Thud! Thud...
Several heavy thuds sounded as the genjutsu-struck Jonin collapsed.
"You're no match for me," Shishou said. "Killer Bee, I suggest you surrender. If we fight, it'll only be you who suffers."
With that, Shishou clapped his hands, releasing a huge burst of chakra. Trees and vines erupted from the ground, forming several massive wooden dragons, encircling Killer Bee.
Shishou liked Killer Bee's character in the original series, especially when he beat Sasuke, so he didn't want to harm him.
To intimidate Killer Bee into compliance, Shishou decided to show his true strength.
"Wood Release!" Killer Bee was shocked, staring at the huge wooden dragons, dumbfounded.
He hadn't heard that the Flying Thunder God user could use Wood Release.
"Mangekyo Sharingan, Wood Release, Flying Thunder God, poison, chakra far surpassing a tailed beast," sighed the Eight-Tails. "Bee, we can't beat him. Surrender. He doesn't seem hostile; otherwise, he wouldn't have exposed so much."
Still, the Eight-Tails discreetly extended an octopus leg into the ground, just in case.
"I surrender!"
Seeing the wooden dragons, Killer Bee gulped and followed the Eight-Tails' advice.
Satisfied, Shishou nodded and approached Yugito.
Despite the commotion, Yugito, the Two-Tails Jinchuriki, seemed oblivious, intriguing Shishou.
"Miss Yugito," Shishou greeted her, standing beside her.
Distracted by her inner demon, Yugito turned to see Shishou, mistaking him for the phantom. She blushed and shouted, "Why did you come out? I haven't agreed yet!"
