Chương 120: Chapter 120: Robbing the Graves of Our Forefathers

In Konoha, the Senju ancestral home.

Tsunade was enjoying a drink, enthusiastically playing cards with Shizune, Ino, and Hinata. Despite Ino's initial refusal to accept Tsunade's signature last time, her passionate and bold personality as Yamanaka Ino wasn't deterred by a single rejection. Knowing Tsunade's hobbies from Shishou, Ino had immediately brought Hinata over tonight, requesting to play cards with the legendary Tsunade.

Since the old man Sarutobi had shut down all the gambling dens in Konoha on the night Tsunade returned, Tsunade, bored at home, was naturally interested and agreed to Ino and Hinata's request. Initially, Ino thought she would lose everything but was willing to endure it to get close to her idol.

However.

To her surprise, Ino won. And she won a lot...

Not only did she win, but even Hinata and Shizune won quite a bit. Only Tsunade lost.

Truly the legendary "Big Loser"...

Thinking of what Shishou had told her today about Tsunade's nickname, Ino couldn't help but glance at Tsunade again. Though, those are indeed quite large...

Quietly retracting her gaze, Ino focused on the game.

Swish!

Shishou's figure appeared behind Shizune.

Huh?

Seeing Ino and Hinata, Shishou was startled and vanished again.

"You all play, I'll step out for a moment," Tsunade said, sensing Shishou's presence. She put down her cards and left the room, unnoticed by the engrossed Ino, Hinata, and Shizune, who only urged her to come back quickly.

"What are you doing here?" Tsunade asked as she entered the adjacent room, looking at Shishou.

"Just checking in since you haven't been looking for me lately," Shishou replied with a smile.

After initially investigating Shishou, Tsunade had stopped her inquiries, which piqued Shishou's curiosity.

"Well, I don't really need anything from you anymore," Tsunade said nonchalantly, handing over several scrolls. "These are my grandfather's Wood Release scrolls."

Taking the scrolls, Shishou was surprised by Tsunade's straightforwardness.

However, his main goal was to strengthen his relationship with Tsunade.

"I thought you might want to see Dan Kato," Shishou suggested with a smile.

"Can you stop mentioning him in front of me?" Tsunade glared at Shishou.

"I can arrange for you to meet Dan Kato," Shishou continued, ignoring her words.

He needed to keep bringing up Dan Kato to reinforce Tsunade's acceptance of his death, creating an opportunity for himself.

"What did you say?" Tsunade's eyes widened in disbelief.

"The Reanimation Jutsu developed by your great-uncle can revive the dead in the form of Edo Tensei. If you agree, I can help you revive Dan Kato," Shishou offered with a smile.

He didn't actually know the Reanimation Jutsu but was using it to pique Tsunade's interest.

Tsunade's eyes sparkled, her heart pounding with excitement.

"Dan is dead!" Tsunade said firmly after a long struggle, taking a swig from a jug of sake she had pulled out from somewhere.

"It seems you understand Dan Kato is really dead," Shishou said slowly.

Tsunade's face turned pale as she nodded and took another drink.

Then she glared at Shishou, "Who are you to my great-uncle? How dare you take advantage of me? Want me to punch you to death?"

Tsunade raised her fist threateningly.

Shishou quickly apologized, "I was wrong."

A punch from Tsunade was truly deadly, a fact Shishou remembered from her battle with the Three-Tails.

Especially now that she had been drinking, she might actually do it.

"Let's go out," Shishou said, putting away the scrolls.

Tsunade raised an eyebrow, "What for?"

"Grave robbing!" Shishou said dramatically. "We're going to rob your grandfather and great-uncle's graves."

Seeing Tsunade's eye twitch with anger, Shishou quickly corrected himself, "Rob your grandfather and your great-uncle's graves."

Tsunade got even angrier.

Shishou, sweating profusely, quickly explained, "Tsunade, you don't want your grandfather, Hashirama Senju, and your great-uncle, Tobirama Senju, to be reanimated someday, do you? I know for a fact that Orochimaru has learned the Reanimation Jutsu."

Hearing Shishou's explanation, Tsunade calmed down and grabbed his arm, "Let's go!"

Due to the alcohol, Tsunade's actions were a bit bold.

Shishou tried to pull his hand away but found he couldn't, so he said, "Let go."

"Why?" Tsunade asked, thinking Shishou didn't want to hold hands.

Why? Because I don't like being passive in this kind of situation!

Shishou thought, then grabbed Tsunade's hand and disappeared.

Near the Konoha Memorial Stone.

"What are we doing here?" Tsunade asked, looking around.

"Grave robbing," Shishou replied.

"Their graves aren't here."

"Then where are they?"

"At the small cemetery on top of the Hokage Rock, which used to be the Senju clan's residence."

"Why didn't you say so earlier?"

"You didn't ask."

"Ugh, men and women are equally difficult," Shishou muttered.

"Ugh, men are equally unreasonable," Tsunade retorted.

"..."

Bickering as they went, they soon arrived at the graves of Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju.

Although Tobirama had died on the battlefield, Kumogakure had eventually returned his body to Konoha.

"Grandfather, grandmother, great-uncle, please forgive me," Tsunade said sincerely, bowing before the graves.

Finished, she looked at Shishou, clearly expecting him to do the dirty work.

Sighing, Shishou placed his hand on the ground.

Rumble!

With a few rumbling sounds, the coffins of Hashirama and the others rose from the ground, manipulated by Shishou's Wood Release.

"Your chakra control is impressive," Tsunade praised, noticing how the coffins were lifted without damage. His control was nearly on par with hers.

Shishou glanced at Tsunade, then tapped the coffins. His phosphorus bugs burrowed into the coffins, beginning to consume the remains inside.

The bodies had been specially preserved and showed no signs of decay.

"Give me your hand," Shishou said to Tsunade.

Chương 121: Chapter 121: The Legendary Cheat Senju Hashirama

"What for?" Tsunade asked, puzzled by Shishou's request, but she still extended her small, soft hand.

A massive amount of energy flowed from Shishou's hand into her body, rapidly increasing her chakra reserves. The sensation left Tsunade astonished.

She never imagined that Shishou could increase her chakra so significantly and in such a short time, doubling her chakra reserves in mere minutes.

This was a sensation she had never experienced before.

No awakening?

Activating his Sharingan in secret, Shishou observed that Tsunade's chakra had merely increased several times without any other changes, leaving him slightly disappointed.

He had hoped that Tsunade, after receiving the energy feedback from Hashirama, Tobirama, and Mito, would directly awaken the power of Hashirama.

However, this might be for the best.

He planned to further enhance her strength once she became his woman, making it easier to win her over.

Hmm?

Suddenly, Shishou sensed someone approaching and disappeared instantly.

"Tsunade, what are you doing here?" The Third Hokage arrived with a few Konoha shinobi, shocked to see the several coffins in front of Tsunade.

The shinobi behind him were equally confused, staring at Tsunade standing by the graves, unsure why she was digging up her ancestors' graves.

The Third Hokage had been drawn by the noise from Shishou's Wood Release.

Never in his wildest dreams did he expect to find Tsunade digging up the graves of the First and Second Hokage, among others.

This was behavior unbecoming of a descendant!

No, it was the behavior of an unfilial granddaughter.

Tch, he escaped quickly!

Tsunade glanced around, seeing no sign of Shishou. After taking a sip of her sake, she turned to the Third Hokage.

"Old man, Orochimaru has learned the Reanimation Jutsu," she stated plainly. "To prevent my grandfather and the others from being disturbed, I'm taking care of their remains."

Given Tsunade's straightforward explanation, the Third Hokage immediately believed her.

After all, Tsunade was the direct granddaughter of the First Hokage, and no one cared more about these matters than she did.

Moreover, knowing Orochimaru, it was entirely plausible that he might use the Reanimation Jutsu on the First and Second Hokage.

The shinobi behind the Third Hokage, unfamiliar with the Reanimation Jutsu, looked bewildered.

"Have you been drinking?" The Third Hokage frowned, noticing the sake jug in Tsunade's hand.

Tsunade waved the jug nonchalantly. "Just a little."

"In that case, make sure to put them back later," the Third Hokage instructed, bowing in respect to the coffins before turning to Tsunade.

"Got it, now hurry up and leave," Tsunade replied impatiently, waving them off.

Seeing Tsunade shoo them away, the Third Hokage left with the Konoha shinobi.

Once they were gone, Tsunade continued to marvel at her rapidly increasing chakra, her face filled with excitement.

As the Third Hokage and his group departed, Shishou, hiding in the shadows, ignored Tsunade, who was still reveling in her chakra boost.

He then located the graves of the Fourth Hokage and Kushina, successfully absorbing their remains before using the Flying Thunder God to teleport to the Third Hokage's home, where he transferred the energy to the sleeping Naruto Uzumaki.

Finally, Shishou returned to Tsunade's side and placed the coffins of Hashirama and the others back into the ground.

After completing these tasks, he looked at Tsunade and asked, "I want to learn senjutsu. Do you have any suggestions?"

The senjutsu training method of Ryuchi Cave had too high a failure rate, so Shishou set his sights on Shikkotsu Forest and the Slug Sage.

"Senjutsu?" Tsunade looked at Shishou, this being the second time he had mentioned it in front of her. Although she didn't know much about senjutsu, she knew the Three Great Sage Regions taught it, so she couldn't answer him immediately.

After some thought, Tsunade said, "I'll check the scrolls my grandfather left behind when I return. If I find anything about senjutsu, I'll give it to you."

Since Shishou had increased her chakra significantly, she intended to reciprocate and repay his kindness.

Moreover, seeing Shishou's keen interest in senjutsu, Tsunade decided to learn more about it herself.

"Not later, now," Shishou insisted, eager after recalling how Hashirama could effortlessly summon anything with a clap of his hands.

He grabbed Tsunade and took her back to the Senju ancestral home.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Tsunade pouted, but she led Shishou away from Shizune and the others to an empty room.

Summoning Katsuyu, Tsunade retrieved all the scrolls stored with the Slug Sage—two whole boxes full!

"What a great storage method," Shishou marveled at Katsuyu, who could store anything safely.

"Damn, so many scrolls..." Tsunade muttered, rummaging through the boxes without finding anything about senjutsu, grumbling all the while.

Tsunade, are you flexing? Shishou thought, exasperated by the sheer number of scrolls, most of which were thanks to her great-uncle Tobirama. Many of the forbidden techniques in the Scroll of Seals were his creations.

Seeing the plethora of scrolls before Tsunade, Shishou couldn't help but criticize inwardly.

Most people wished for as many jutsu training scrolls as possible, but Tsunade was complaining about having too many.

She might as well be called "Vain Tsunade."

Of course, to enjoy the sight of Tsunade's graceful figure as she searched through the scrolls, Shishou refrained from helping.

"Finally found it," Tsunade said, pulling out a scroll and handing it to Shishou.

As Shishou opened the scroll, Tsunade peered over his shoulder to read it as well.

What the hell? Hashirama's senjutsu wasn't from Shikkotsu Forest; he had figured it out himself.

No wonder his Sage Mode only had black markings and no slug-like characteristics.

Unlike Jiraiya, Naruto, and Kabuto, who exhibited toad or snake traits in Sage Mode, Hashirama only had a few markings...

After reading through Hashirama's senjutsu scroll, Shishou felt a headache coming on.

The scroll mainly detailed how to use senjutsu techniques like Sage Art: Gate of the Great God.

There was very little on how Hashirama had actually trained to achieve Sage Mode.

According to Hashirama's notes, one day while using Wood Release, he suddenly sensed some kind of energy. He then tried absorbing it and applying it internally.

Then, with a clap of his hands, Sage Mode activated!

From sensing the senjutsu chakra to entering Sage Mode, the entire process took less than ten seconds!

Less than ten seconds!

Truly a legendary cheat, Senju Hashirama!

"Looks like you can't learn it after all," Tsunade said, gloating after reading the scroll's description.

Shishou glared at her. "What if I do learn it?"

"Hmph," Tsunade crossed her arms, looking proud. "Do you think you're my grandfather? Stop dreaming. If you do manage to learn my grandfather's senjutsu, I'll do whatever you want."

Sweeping his gaze over Tsunade's impressive figure, Shishou grinned and said, "Anything? Even be my woman?"
