Kaden pulled over by the curbs and walked into the Cafe Canteen to get a cappuccino for him. As he approached the counter to place his order, he noticed a familiar face.

"Sherlyn, is that you?" The woman paused and looked to the side. Her eyes widened in awareness.

"Kaden Willow, you'd better be kidding me. How could we have met in a coffee shop of all places in the world? Sherlyn instinctively stretched out to hug him.

"It's strange, yet I believe fate has finally brought us together." Seeing his college friend after so many years startled Kaden, but what truly amazed him was that she lived in the same city as him.

"That's right."

The two made their way to the table and sat across from one another on their chairs.

"So, how come you're here? Shouldn't you be on a quest for something?" she teased, making Kaden smile.

"I thought you'd forget," he said, looking down meekly.
