Erwin hurried tore open the document bag with eager hands and pulled out the card inside it was indeed a black gold bank card with a chip.
" Mother wasn't lying to me, this is really black gold SVIP card." Erwin rejoiced; with this card, he would have ceaseless funds.
With money now in his possession, Erwin's first thought was to reclaim his career.
"Just wait you lowly Bashan, how dare you fire me, I'll buy the company and then we'll see who gets fired." A slight smile appeared on Erwin's lips.
Previously, Erwin had encountered department manager Bashan Davis mistreating a female subordinate in the restroom. Having witnessed the scene , Erwin struck Bashan directly, resulting in him being fired for assaulting his superior.
Erwin wanted to dispute and explain, but Bashan's uncle, a board director, counteracted fiercely, leading to Erwin's remaining salary being seized as compensation for Bashan's medical expenses, leaving Erwin unable to pay his rent.
Now, with funds in hand, Erwin's first plan was to acquire his company and reclaim his business.
Nevertheless, Erwin remained deeply interested in the culture and entertainment industry, especially since his fiance was well known celebrity Rina; their career were interconnect.
Besides regaining his business, he also needed to find a new home, for renting did not give him a sense of ownership.
"I remember there being a luxurious forty billion Crown villa in Oak Bay Community, that shall be my choice!" A small smile graced Erwin's face.
"Seems like I'll have to look for my assistant Adam tomorrow."
Thus, Erwin spent his last night in the rental. The next day, after breakfast, he took a cab straight to High Build Group, looking for his assistant, Adam, to help acquire his company and arrange for the luxury villa.
High Build Group was among Bandung City's largest firms, mainly involved in real estate, culture and entertainment industry, and hospitality and catering.
Yet, this company was merely one of Erwin's father's branches, though in Bandung City, it stood unmatched, showcasing the Smith family's formidable industrial empire.
When Erwin arrived at High Build Group, it was around ten in morning, peak working hours, so there were fewer employees entering and leaving the company.
Stepping out of the cab, Erwin walked straight towards the High Build Group's entrance.
Looking around, the decor and staff attire indicated an extraordinary company.
At that moment, Erwin clad in casual attire indeed looked like a courier.
"Hey, who are you looking for?" A security guard approached and halted Erwin at the door.
"I'm here to see your General manager, Adam," Erwin stated unwittingly.
"Do you suppose Mr.Adam is someone you can just meet whenever? Move on, don't hover here, go along." The security guard dismissed him impatiently.
Erwin's brow furrowed, he couldn't enter his own company?
"I am Mr.Adam's esteemed guest, my name is Erwin Smith, and you just need to inform Mr. Adam over the phone." Erwin maintained politeness, remembering the security guard was simply doing his job.
"Esteemed guest?" The guard sized up Erwin's cheap clothes with a trace of disdain. He'd never seen Adam entertain a shabby guest like Erwin during his years of service.
"Better let me in, if General manager Adam gets upset, there might be little I can do for you," Erwin said, still politely.
"Who do you think you are?" It wasn't the guard speaking this time but a younger security member, his eyes filled with arrogance as he approached Erwin.
"I want to deal with you, and I won't let you in, what can you do about it?" The young guard conveyed recklessness to Erwin, who returned the reminder with patience.
"I'm giving you one last chance, step aside, or..."
