In his past life, Lubius only went to the stadium once to watch his local football club play when he was in junior high school. He also watched inter-school matches a few times, especially badminton in the gym. In other words, he had little experience visiting places like this.
Lubius and Nadia arrived at the place where they had promised to meet Nadia's boss, which seemed to be a small cafe near the stadium. Because Lubius could see the stadium where the Arena would be held. From the size of the stadium, it was no different from a football stadium from his past life that could probably hold about twenty thousand spectators.
Once again, Lubius had no idea how big this sport called Arena was. So they had to use a stadium like this. It seemed that women in this world were very invested in their sports.
Lubius however realized when he entered this cafe, he began to realize that this place was more like a fan bar with various photos, and also various items that looked very Arena-related. They have photos of athletes competing, or lifting trophies and the like. It felt like it was not that different from sports culture from his previous life.
"We'll head to the spot in the back... She always sits in her favorite spot." Nadia muttered as she pushed Lubius who seemed to be distracted by looking at various photos and sports equipment that seemed to be used by women in this sport called Arena.
It was certainly something that attracted Lubius' attention, because if it was a sport from his past life, such as soccer, this place would be full of balls, football boots, jerseys and the like. If it was tennis, it would be tennis balls, rackets and the like. And the same goes for other sports.
However, in this place, the things Lubius could see were various objects that he often saw in the game. Such as staff that have a slightly complicated design. Knives that look like they were formed using ice shards and also various other things such as amulets, rings to helmets. After all, it was a feast for Lubius who grew up playing JRPGs and other such things. No wonder, he got occupied pretty easily with this stuff.
"Ah… She's already here…" Nadia spoke and Lubius finally turned towards the person she was talking about.
Lubius saw a woman with vivid green hair and perhaps for the first time he also found a woman who could be said to have an extraordinary Eron capacity, although not comparable to Verita. After meeting Verita, Lubius realized how far away women with category S Eron capacity were from others. Even when he met someone with a lot of Eron capacity like this woman, it still didn't compare to Verita.
However, there was one other thing that made this woman who was supposed to be Nadia's boss stand out a bit from the other women, she was almost the same as the woman who had a high Eron capacity, which was having a beautiful and sexy body. However, she was a little different because it could be said that even though this woman was sitting down, Lubius immediately realized that this woman was much taller and basically had a large body structure.
"Hey, Ms. Tiara. We're here…" Nadia called out to the green-haired woman who turned towards the two of them and Lubius could see the gold-colored eyes that were both beautiful and interesting. Because for the first time he saw pupils that were shaped differently and like those he saw from anime or game characters.
"Oh, Nadia… you're finally here. Hm… So you're her little brother. Hello, my name is Tiara Jane. Nice to meet you…" Tiara introduced herself to Lubius as she stood up from her seat. So Lubius himself had to look up slightly to see the face of the woman who he felt could be almost two meters tall or at least twenty centimeters taller than Lubius.
Just like any other woman in the world, Tiara was young and beautiful. Lubius himself had a hard time guessing how old this woman was, or like the majority of people in this world because they looked like animated characters. However, it could be said that he felt more than both of them for sure.
Tiara then offered her hand as if trying to ask for a handshake.
To be honest Lubius had lived twenty years in his past life, he had never met a girl this tall in person. Especially since he was taller than the average man in his home country, basically his country was short of people after all.
Seeing a woman this tall was the first time for Lubius. With his height and body type and a high Eron capacity, it was not strange that Lubius felt the same pressure as when he met Verita. Even so, Lubius accepted Tiara's handshake. He could feel an overwhelming grip.
"Ah... My name is Lubius. I'm also happy to have gotten to know you."
"Hm… You have a good little brother, Nadia..." Tiara spoke with a big smile on her face and patted Nadia on the shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm very proud of him. I'm also very grateful that you helped me get tickets for this match."
"Ahaha, something like this is really easy. As a former Arena athlete, it is not strange that I would be very happy if someone is interested in this sport. Especially if that person is a man, I will welcome him gladly. I will pay for the ticket for your younger brother... However, you still pay your share."
"Eh… Really… Boss… why are you not paying for me too." Nadia spoke in a humorous tone to Tiara who also replied with a teasing tone. It was clear from their conversation that the two of them were very close. The two of them chatted while allowing Lubius to order something he liked. It wasn't his money and in this world it was appropriate for a woman to pay a man. He didn't hesitate to order the cake that caught his eye.
"Heh... Honestly, I would be happy to have a man working at our place. However, the things he can do are very few when looking at his work experience, education, and even his Eron capacity is far from the lowest requirement." Tiara answered after she listened to one of the reasons why Nadia wanted to meet Tiara.
"He can probably work as a receptionist or office boy. Of course, if he is interested in taking the job, I can make sure he is in the same workspace as you sister. However, of course, I can only pay you the minimum salary so I don't know if you are interested or not?" She added, but at the end of her words Lubius could sense that she meant something else. As if there were still many jobs Lubius could take.
Lubius held his chin and thought for a moment, "I wonder if you know other jobs that pay me more..."
Tiara smiled when she heard Lubius' words.
"Of course, I know. I think there will be many places that like men like you."
"Is that so?"
"Of course, so far I can come to the conclusion that you are still new to looking for work. Probably because you think that what you have is too far from the standard. However, there are many workplaces that like men like you. It feels like it's been a long time since a man with no fear and a tense face accepted a handshake from me. If I were ten years younger, I would have already fallen for you. There are plenty of workplaces for a man like you..." Tiara spoke with a big grin.
Lubius could understand what kind of workplace Tiara was referring to, and Nadia immediately responded to Tiara's words.
"Well, there's no way. My little brother is doing something like that…"
"Eh, why not… It's such an easy job and makes a lot of money for you."
"That may be true, but I don't have any interest in working in those places. I'll be honest with you, I'm only interested in working in a place related to Eron. Then I thought working at a sports club would allow me to see and understand Eron from a different perspective that I probably wouldn't get from just looking on the internet." Lubius gave an answer that made Tiara's face light up. It was obvious that she was very happy with Lubius' answer.
"You look a lot like your older brother. I really like you, if you're still interested I can provide a workplace for you. I'm even ready to give you the place you want and give yourself as an intern." Tiara answered and also gave Lubius reassurance. Not only certainty, but also giving Lubius the freedom to work on what interests him.
Something that sounded like beautiful music to Lubius.
"Really?"
"Yeah… Somehow you make me have such high expectations and our girl will most likely be happy."
To be honest, Lubius might not have worked in the same place as his older sister. But in the end, it was a good option. Besides, before deciding, he was more interested in seeing how the sports club functioned with his own eyes.
"Can I see how it usually is... Arena club work…?" Lubius made an appeal to Tiara who gave an easy answer.
"Of course, you can… You can give me all the time you want..."
Lubius didn't know whether Tiara's attitude was normal or not. However, he could feel that he was given very special treatment from Tiara. This was possible because Lubius was a man in this world. It was such a wonderful thing for him after all…
