Peer pressure is the influence that peers have on each other to do things they may not otherwise choose to do.
Hugo didn't feel that growing up because, before others, he would pressure himself to get to where he was today. Who would have thought that at this age, he would experience peer pressure just because of his drunk brother-in-law?
"I knew it," he grumbled to himself, glaring at Zoren on the other side of the table. "There's a reason why he didn't get angry at Penny when she was drunk."
They were the same! Both were troublesome with alcohol!
But what made Hugo angriest was that Penny was on the other end of the table as a prize! And she wasn't even angry. She was smiling and blushing.
"Penny," he called, his tone commanding and bone-chilling. "If I win here, you better make sure you stay home for a month. You'd be grounded."
