Cazz's brows drew down sharply over his nose and his eyes narrowed. "What do you mean, you don't know how to feel about it?"
I looked back and forth, up and down the tunnel. I hadn't planned to have this conversation with him so soon. I'd been busy hunting down my new friends. But Cazz's appearance had frightened Wylde, who thought he was going to be angry with her for talking to me while she was supposed to be working, so I didn't call her back when she darted away. I knew I could find her later.
The truth was, feeling that sudden tug behind my ribs, that call that could only be him, had excited me-then stepping into the hallway to see Cazz prowling towards me had been thrilling.
He was hunting.
At least, that's what I thought when I first saw him. Now, I wasn't so sure. He looked pissy and imperious, and I was remembering that I was kind of pissed off about the lingerie.
