Chương 10: Exchanging secrets

"What do you mean saying 'a threat'?""You know, when someone has something precious for the other and uses it to make the other obey""Yeah, I know what a threat is, what I meant was""Then why did you ask?""At least let me finish. I meant, obviously, what's the email's content""It wasn't that obvious. Can't you simply look by yourself?""Well, there could still be a virus with specific conditions for the activation""No, I don't think so. Ohh, I got it, you are climbing to your pride to avoid to say that I have a point""Wha!". Kei's face became red. "Well, I guess that to tell you the email's content is the least I can do to make up for my actions" said Alex. Kei was a bit grateful for his friend's understanding, but he didn't show it off, saying "Go ahead". Alex's mouth distorted into a grimace trying to hide a smile. He understood his friend's emotions and found funny his 'try to be cold' way to speak. "There was written 'if you won't do what's written in my future emails, everybody will know your deepest secret, and seen how big it is, it won't pass unobserved' or something like that". Kei was pale. Could it be that person really knew it? That wasn't possible, right? Obviously, the secret was his family, but Alex, like practically everyone else, didn't know. Alex started looking at Kei with sparkling eyes. He was too curious again. But this time, he had a strategy. "I heard you and Daisuke were suspicious about me and wanted to know about my secret. Ok, I'll tell you" said Alex with a triumphant look in his eyes. Kei was perplexed about where he was going, and then he understood. But before he could stop Alex from talking more, Alex had already pressed on the accelerator. "I come from a prestigious English family, is what I'd like to say, buut we are more likely the servants/slaves of some abusing industries, and my parents are behaving like suck-ups, which is a thing that I truly hate. They entrusted me with our future, but overdid, being too severe, I couldn't stand it anymore, because, you know, I'm a free spirit, so I asked my grandpa for money to travel here and somebody to bring me here, because they wouldn't let me go alone, I obviously promised him to pay back, but when I arrived my parents discovered everything, but, because they didn't have the money to make me come back and grandpa didn't give any to them (he is better than them at making himself being respected, so he obtained a relatively higher position and a bigger wage than my parents), we arrived to a decision, they would have let me stay here, but I would have had to go to some evening special courses, to make in the way that I'll be competent enough when I return to England. Ok, now is your turn". Alex's eyes were saying 'you can't retreat now'. "Ahhh, okay, I got it, I'll do it, I'll tell you, but this mustn't go out from here. Not a word to anyone, not either Daisuke. It seems he is the only one here to have a normal life" said Kei. Alex made pressure on Kei's morality to corner him. Kei started to talk. "In my family, I'm the third child. As you know, I have a big sister, then there's my brother and a little brother and a little sister. I don't know exactly why, but when I was ten years old, my parents divorced, and all my siblings stayed with my father, while I decided to stay with my mother. The reason is because I wasn't suited to stay with them. They are all geniuses, so it was obvious that I was out of place. My big brother verbally bullied me a bit, but it worked only when I was a child. He is dumb. I discovered I made the right choice when my little sister revealed herself as some kind of mad scientist (she was such an angel at her birth). My mother told me that, she was still in contact with dad. Anyway, you should have understood that mine is not a normal family. Oh, and I changed surname. My dad's surname is Kishimoto".
