That's so amazing said Sachiko in awe as Haruko stared at him lost into her thoughts and mesmerized by his dribbling skills. Tetsuo who noticed them stopped dribbling and took up the basketball. Why did you stop? We weren't disturbing you right? Asked Sachiko. No it's not that, it's been a while since I've played infront of people so I was just anxious that's all.
Oh, I see, well since were here , let's hurry up and get both you and your sister cleaned up. After showering for over an hour Tetsuo finally came out of the bath and with no mud or dirt on him they could clearly see his face. I'm done showering now you guys can go ahead and help my sister shower. I couldn't stop staring at you in that moment and I didn't know the reason why, perhaps I was just surprised your face.
Alright Usagi come here, let me wash your hair said Sachiko. But the shampoo will burn my eyes said Usagi fearfully. Just close your eyes until I'm done, I promise that it won't hurt one bit, trust me okay. Right, I'll close my eyes said Usagi as Sachiko washed her hair.
There all done said Sachiko as she washed out Usagi's hair.
Tetsuo sat down on the floor with only a towel covering him and Haruko who was anxious at first mustered up the courage to go take to him. Here you go Haruko said as she handed him some clothes. Thank you so much said Tetsuo as he smiled gently which made Haruko blush. I'm all done with her thank you so much for waiting said Sachiko as she and Usagi came to the living room.
Big brother look, I'm wearing clean clothes and my hair smells really good said Usagi as she spun around and smiled. Yes it really does said Tetsuo. Usagi is really cute I can't get enough of her said Sachiko as she pats her on the head. Sachiko dear, I thought I heard your voice, you're home early said a woman as she opened the door.
Crap, my mom is here, there's no time to hide them said Sachiko to herself. Oh, I didn't know that you had friends coming over today said Sachiko's mother suprised. Yes, they stopped by to play with us for the day said Sachiko. Oh really, well if I'd known I would have left some snacks or at least baked some cookies said Sachiko's mom as she noticed how long and messy both Tetsuo and Usagi's hair was.
Oh my , your hair is all over the place young man, come with me, I'll cut it for you said Sachiko's mother as she smiled. After cutting Usagi's hair a bit shorter she noticed how cute she was . Well aren't you the sweetest thing she said as she patted her head and smiled. She then moves on to Tetsuo's hair and she started cutting his long bangs shorter. Honestly your parents should really ensure that your hair is kept neat and tidy and not overgrown said Sachiko's mother.
Yes, I'll let them know said Tetsuo as the look on his face changed and his eyes lost in thought. There you go all done, I have to say you're really a handsome little boy, I hope that you don't sweep my daughter off her feet. Mom that was really uncalled for said Sachiko as she blushed. After that my mother invited both Tetsuo and UsagI to eat dinner it was really fun and they both look happy.
Of course we didn't tell our mother that Tetsuo and his little sister was hiding out in the doll house outside because our father wouldn't approve of them staying their in the first place so we kept it a secret. After school we would play tag with Tetsuo and Usagi and he would sometimes walk us to the bus stop and waited for us to come back so he could walk us home, he was truly nice.
Big brother over here said Usagi as she raised her hands, here you go Usagi catch said Tetsuo as he passed her the ball. Yay!! I caught it she said as she smiled brightly. Great now pass it back. Right here goes, catch Tetsuo she said as she threw the ball to him. He then threw the ball back to her however it hits her on the head and she started crying.
I'm so sorry Usagi, does it hurt? Don't worry you'll be alright said Tetsuo as he rubbed Usagi's forehead. Haruko then walks in and saw that Tetsuo was bouncing the basketball.
Tetsuo then spotted Haruko and due to being embarrassed she hid behind the wall. Haru said Tetsuo as he smiled. What is it? Asked Haruko after slowly revealing herself. Let me show you something cool, you've been wanting to see me do it up close for a very longtime but you were afraid to ask, you would always stay from afar and watch me said Tetsuo as he dribbles the basketball through his legs.
Whoa , you're so amazing, that's so cool said Haruko as her eyes glistened with excitement and her interest peaked. You really think that crossing the ball between my leg was amazing wait until you see me do this trick said Tetsuo as he proceeds to spin the basketball on his fingers.
I'm amazed you are able to do stuff like that, who taught you? Asked Haruko curiously. I honestly don't remember any of that , all I know is that I'm able to do all this but it's amazing isn't it Haruko? He asked. Yes it definitely is I want to play basketball as well said Haruko. Of course you can with hard work and patience you'll become the best there is said Tetsuo as he smiled.
Wait where is Sachiko? Asked Tetsuo curiously. Well, she joined a club now so she'll be coming home very late today. I see, well let me go meet her, come on Usagi let's go. We'll be right back okay Haruko said Tetsuo as he left.
Holding Usagi's hand he dribbled the basketball on the sidewalk as he made is way to the school that Sachiko attended. After reaching the gate he noticed Sachiko and a group of girls just standing there and laughing while chatting. He was about to walk over to say hi however the voice of one of the girls made him stop.
Hey Sachiko, that boy who walks you to the bus stop is he your boyfriend? Asked a girl teasingly. Yeah I've been wandering as well why doesn't he goes to school at all? Asked another. I heard he was homeless and she took him in to live in her doll house playing with him and his sister like dolls that's hilarious said another one of Sachiko's friend.
Well Sachiko should we take silence as a yes, you truly do like him don't you? That's enough!! Why would I like him? He was dirty and smelly and he's homeless, he makes me sick whenever I look at him said Sachiko. Tetsuo who heard her words was truly hurt by them and tears rolled down his cheek. Big brother are you okay? Are you hurt? Tell me!! Said Usagi as she cried.
It's okay Usagi, I'm alright let's get going okay. But what about Sachiko? Asked Usagi.
That's okay, I'm sure she would be able to find her way home said Tetsuo as he walked off with Usagi. After finishing her talk with her friends, Sachiko saw both Usagi and Tetsuo across the road and Tetsuo stared at her with disappointment in his eyes. Then after a large bus passed by both him and his sister disappeared without a trace.
